Sharp edges show the lack of tessellation on walls that had heavy tessellation in the pre-release shots and footage, and thus the very obvious downgrade in spite of the claims to the contrary, but hey, let's not let a little thing like "evidence" get in the way of our blind fangirl rants  Funny how whenever someone mentions visuals (mentioning negative comments at least, positive comments and images are applauded ) the tired "gameplay, quests, world!" argument comes out as if any of us had ever contested that in the first place.
The visuals have been downgraded. The sooner people stop whining that it hasn't, the sooner we can put the discussion to bed. Even the PC/PS4 comparison video is proof enough of that, both versions are near identical, very little difference between the two whatsoever.

Here's what's most probably going to happen on the 9th of may:
People of this boards, fanbois and haters alike (just troll words, get past that part) will be enjoying the heck out of this game.
This amount of tension on this board ... it's because people really love the witcher games, no matter which side of the argument they are on this time.
I have no doubt everyone involved in the last 100 pages of this argument really loves this franchise, and has high expectations of the game proper. Tensions are high, and the 19th can't come fast enough.

Even though I will prolly play it with derproller, I would be very fucking pissed, if mouse controls were not smooth, but I don't think they would make such a beginner's mistake.
Mate, I never doubted you look forward to this game. I look forward to it as well. The downgrade is obvious, but I believe their reasons: they chose to invest in the game (which's scheduling was messed up, and they were behind. A lot behind), and didn't invest time to make different versions. I can live with that. This time. They still have enough credit with me.
They decided to go open world, which is a whole lot harder to pull off. I applaud them for the bold move, even though I didn't think this could work in open world (we'll see).
I'm pretty certain I'll like the game though. The world, the lore, the characters. Triss .
We have to remember. Only 4 moar dayz!

I find it kinda ridiculous that trees are constantly in a "hurricane mode"  I hope we can tweak this.

I admit, the pictures rarely convey atmosphere well in games. Yes, you can compare pictures to pictures, and that is valid.
But my final opinion will be formed, when I play it. The atmoshpere I feel will determine my enjoyment of it.

What more distracting (annoying) to me in that image is, is the bottom middle stone texture just cut off :\

Haven't seen the video yet. Anyone know if it's just the intro cinematic or something? If it's in the game i'd rather wait, but it if's something exclusive to this trailer then it's worth it.

I caved and saw it before your reply. And i agree, it was awesome!
Just finished the second game as well, and the end credits video hyped me the fuck up! Holy shit this will be great! The story on the third chapter in the second game was truly amazing and really kept me on my toes.
