And why are we seeing shots like this now, when we've seen a LOT of other shots that were supposedly ultra settings?

We've seen all of these screens before. Gamersyde just added them to their gallery and didn't elaborate that they aren't actully "new".

As long as it runs GREAT (yanno, considering it was downgraded for "optimisation") on my system and looks like those screens? I'll be content. If it looks like those screens and requires a 980? Then fuck this game and the devs that made it Laughing

Please stop spreading lies. As the dev clearly explainded: There was no grade to downgrade from.

On a more serious side note, my main worry is also how well it will run... My case is even worse, since I have an AMD 7970 card.

That explanation was absurd, idiotic and comic. It's so good that I had to quote it.

Some quotes from a guy that works at CDPR. They brought him in for Cyberpunk 2077, but he worked on Witcher 3 as well Laughing

Once you get used to a controller it's basically superior for everything except PC shooters (because they are designed for kbm)

I liked Inquisition alright. I got on board with the story once Act 2 started and I realized it was all just a big silly D&D campaign. I got down with the quest design once I realized it was basically single-player WoW.*

I eventually had to stop though because I hit a progression break bug. In the quest with the big ball at the palace I was unable to exit the foyer and go into the ballroom, the game would just freeze on a black screen every time I did.

*If wow were playable with the controller I'd probably starve to death in my chair, unable to even get up to feed myself.

No wonder they've changed so much(if we ignore all the M$ garbage with this game). Bodes really well for their future games.

I hate consoles so very much. So, so much. So extremely much. But i hate controllers more. I'm a massive cyberpunk fan. But how can i look forward to their game now. Imbeciles. How could they have turned so much in the span of only two games? They were one of the shining beacons of pc gaming. And now, controllers are better for eveything ? The fucking fuck ? Witcher 1 was a M/KB only game in gods name

Stop being so hysterical Rolling Eyes You have to think of all the great things they've done for PC gaming, it all balances out on the cosmic scales, so now it's time they moved on and did great things for Micro... consoles!

I, for one, am certainly looking forward to the PC CE of Cyberpunk 2077 where it comes with a custom-liveried XBONE controller \o/

I honestly can't imagine playing any game apart from racing games on anything other than a keyboard.

I tried Assassin's Creed on a pad once, immediately the parkour became clunky as fuck because I couldn't control the camera properly.

Tried Batman- the same.

I wish playing with a pad was more comfortable to me, but it isn't. Seriously, I can easily pull off 100+ combos in Batman on a keyboard, could barely sustain 20-25 because of how clunky it felt to me. :\

Everyone is free to play with whatever device they want, but to claim that "pad is superior than kb&m in 90% of games" is just idiotic.

To be fair, it's just one guy that only relatively recently started working at CDPR.

Can't say their handling of the PC version of this game inspires much hope when you look at that guy, though..

Yep, me too. There's no way the game can look that much better on PC than on consoles, it's unheard of!

Ok, seriously... what the fuck is this shit? Warsaw in 14th century? It had barely appeared on a map and was somewhere between "nowhere" and "here be sheep" in terms of regional importance. Is this something that that guy said? I didn't know CDP decided to hire entire medievalpoc.tumblr.com staff Confused

The screens do look really good, not as good as promised, but good.

But saying Witcher3 is not an open world game (sure, you can be nitpicky there, it technically isnt... but in skyrim you had a loadscreen everytime you enter a dungeon or a building, so not open world either Very Happy ) or comparing it to skyrim mods is really not fair imho.

Well tehcnically it's not an open world...because we are largely restricted by the activities the developer has put in that world. Cool Face

Yeah, he said it in reply to someone complaining about the Polygon review on SomethingAwful.

It's some American that used to worked at Obsidian. Of course he's learnt his European history from some random shitty Tubmlr.
