Hopefully it's a temp with a warning. Perm ban for cursing seems a bit drastic, especially when he's been allowed without any warnings to this point.

I'm fully aware. He was as childish back then as he is now. A perm ban now just seems to be a crowdpleaser more than anything else.

But won't it always be a crowd pleaser when someone gets banned? One is disruptive to others and one gets banned. The crowd is pleased.
In all honesty the message should have sunk in earlier with him, but no after people telling him many times to just tone it down, he just escalated. So to me he deserved it fully.
I didn't mind a post here and there in his style, but when he posts 20 in a row and then starts to spread it to every popular game release and just takes the side where he can just unleash the most controversy... nope begone it is then. |

I don't disagree. I just think that when someone is allowed to do something for a long time, you shouldn't just be permanently banned for it. Warn and then ban.

Yes, but we've been good at removing those as they pop up in the past. It's not like we're just a bunch of wet noodles. Usually we just don't care enough. |

This is what keeps my annoyance bubbling about all this, the fact they simply refuse to admit what is patently obvious to anyone with eyes, and that they keep spinning this is as a good thing and how it's "better" now. Now they're claiming that all the earlier footage was "trailer and not gameplay" - despite having "GAMEPLAY!" written all over every piece of promotional material - and that it's unfair to compare recent gameplay footage to that. Even the 35m "gameplay" footage.
Assholes, basically.
