PS: you might want to tick "developer mode" in your extensions menu, or Chrome will nag you about the presence of unsigned extensions at every boot

Yes PC version looks like the Xbone version, with poorer hair rendering system.

For me, it was those few seconds long GIFs posted everywhere, which were supposedly gameplay material that really stood out. Those were really suggesting an image and world quality that somehow disappeared last year.
Although I've noticed most of the older "hot" TW3 stuff was captured in rainy, cloudy weather and I haven't seen that on the streams yet, but under normal lights the game looks dreadful at places. Makes me think of Derpmasters F1 who always showed rainy gameplay because then, you wouldn't notice that they actually don't have a sun....
So the game basically will look like xb1, but just a in a higher reso... Well that dissapoints really. Might be the last game i will order next time from cdpr and pirate it first and buy it cheaply later if they will do it again and they will, cyberpunk will not look like it did as first shown.
I wonder just how extensive the the prologue options are, whether you can completely and totally sculpt your W2 experiences or whether it's like Mass Effect, where they give you two or three questions and then automatically choose the absofuckinglutely worse scenario possible from the previous games.

Nah, those scenes being rainy have nothing to do with the obvious differences in graphics, technically speaking. I just didn't take that as gameplay back then cause I had already learned from every previous reveal bullshit in the industry. First real gameplay we ever saw (like I already said many times) was the Gamescom 35 min. demo in my book.

oh god, so what happens with the steam version? that had a fucking terrible save system.. it saved shit to its own little folder hidden deep in the steam folder, and also the cloud saves thing which sometimes brought back saves youd DELETED... id never seen such a mess before...

Glad i haven't bought it. Fuck CDPR.. Lying sacks of shit (most here knew this already, but it's rage inducing getting it confirmed anyway). Will happily enjoy this game for free, as they have indirectly intended.

Just found in my wd passport the final autosave from 2011 (Roche playthrough, Saskia, Henselt and Letho dead) packed into a rar file that I neatly named "w3saves" back then, premonitory of me getting confused while looking for it
