All matters besides graphics will be discussed after the game is actually released, it's not rocket science. Except for the people asking why those aren't discussed here yet, apparently.
And I somewhat agree that most of the discussion regarding graphics should also be done *after* the PC version is released too.

The loss of geometry is caused because the tesselation is not used anymore.
BUT.. i thinkt, that some things can be activeted over the ini-files again. (for example the higher draw distance and perhaps tesselation too)

i got a question, guys -
i torrented the preload of the game and installed it. now the game says i will just need to wait until release date to DL the last tiny part of the game so i can activate it.
when will i be asked for a CDKEY? i dont have a CD KEY. i didnt buy the game yet, but i dont even see a place to insert it. i was certain that before i can install the game i will be asked for the key. and if not then, than when i try and run it.
but it's neither. my last guess will be that if i try and activate the game AFTER the release date THEN i will be asked for the key.
do you have a guess?

The game had better run at min 60 fps on ultra on Sabin's setup - otherwise this whole thing is a console-sucking joke.

another thing, im not quite sure why its not illegal to list the screenshots that they have on steams store page.
most screenshots from other games are obviously over-exaggerated, because theyre at ultra high resolution, and have been cherry picked, with dynamic camera angles that wouldnt exist in the game, but with witcher 3, the screens they're showing are clearly not from the game that theyre selling.... its downright deceptive and disgusting...
its no different than just mocking up some cgi scenes and then saying 'this is what the game looks like'...

Maybe you people are just idiots thinking a game can have such a draw distance with such details in the distance without aliasing and flickering and stuff. Dont you know its impossible these days? Mybe you were just blind it was just bullshot bullvideo material.

Link doesn't work anymore though. "Error establishing a database connection"
Looks to me like CDPR are trying to SUPPRESS THE TRUTH.

I think the more likely explanation that CDPR are sending out squads of Lithuanian Hitmen across the globe to assassinate anyone who dared to speak up about the downgrade. Uh oh, Hump is next!

Unless CDPR is DDOS'ing them, that is not the reason. Had that error and after that I could access the site.
