So how much longer is this going to carry on? Surely there must be some legal action possible when you see shit like this from virtually ever publisher* now?
I mean, pre-ordering used to be because the hype was generally real, but that's long gone. And yet sheeples still do it - maybe with continual misguided optimism that 'this time they'll get it right'.
It makes me literally nauseous when I see it.
* assuming the game is released on console.

Well Sabin regarding sharpness it IS youtube. Low detail stuff I am not sure yet. Maybe some areas are low detailed? Maybe the screens are low detail shit? Because if there is one thing that is bullshit high ten it's that people say worse than Witcher 2 and that is Super Nintendo shit and that is 2002 quality or whatever THAT can't be. No it can't shouldn't be won't be.
But it's easy just go to a special spot a little corner that looks shit make a screen and post it and voila the fuck is cooking.

nope, no legal action. well, you can try, but good luck with it, no sane lawyer would take that case. just because you can't comprehend what "not final product, subject to change, this is beta code" means, doesn't make you right.
just because game doesn't look as good as it did 3 years ago in few tiny demo videos, doesn't mean it's worse game. they probably added 1000 quests and 100000 lines of dialogue and 30 songs and 500 dungeons in that time, but does anyone care about that? nope, everyone is just focusing on the bad, slightly shorter grass and less bling.
and silliest thing is game isn't even out and everyone is acting like sky is falling.

well i meant the downgrade", bullshots and other false advertising - its been there for years , but people starter for some reason caring only recently because of fails of some over-hyped titles
- to me its all just unhealthy hype, unrealistic expectations and gamers more angry and whiny than feminists , like the graphics disscussion went nuts here
=> its like that gamersgate bullshit ignite something in gamers and I just dont want to be part of it anymore , its not even fun to watch / troll anymore
- its just bland and tiring -> I just want to paly the games and discuss them without all this agenda and politics bullhit

The worst thing is, hypothetically the palette and sharpening could be somewhat artificially restored through reshade (by just altering the technicolor/curves values, plus adding the usual sharpen filter), but that amount of particles, the incredible geometry and polygons are lost, forever. 
It's really heartbreaking when you think about it, not being able to play such a good game (hopefully) at its finest, you always remember this and think "what could have been.. if only those filthy couch machines didn't exist". |

TBH I don't care about graphics as long as they are not utter shit. The only thing in case of W3 graphics for me is - are the requirements for pc really justified?
The thing that interests me is how much Biowared Witcher 3, because from the reviews it seems that rpg factor has diminished substantially e.g. easy combat, no real character progress (from the CD-Action review). And the most important thing the quality of the story.

Graphics are gorgeous as expected. What can the haters do now that they ran out of fuel? Also ultra settings were never enabled for the you tubers who got to preview the game, this was already established ages ago.

Sharpening filter is overused in most sweetfx presets I've seen. It's ok when added to subtly sharpen by default blurry image. Or to counterpart too much fxaa

Never seen a good example. Im not talking about a careful sharpening in production of an image or video. I mean applying some sharpening filter to every scene thrown at it, as is the case with reshade or TVs with increased sharpness settings or sharpening filters for video playback.

In the end, the game will be fantastic. We know this. We expect this. And we won't be disappointed (though the supposedly low difficulty and over-reliance on "Detective Yeil View" is going to annoy some people) The awesomeness of the game itself should not be a free pass to defraud people with an ugly downgrade, it wasn't acceptable when Gearbox did it, it wasn't acceptable when Ubisoft continually do it, so it shouldn't be acceptable now.
