Fucking consoles and sony and microsoft, i despise them so profoundly, so intensely.

Most likely the PC version doesn't exist at all. They lied to us all along!

Do other companies actually send out PC review copies weeks prior to release? I would've imagined not, since it would make the risk of leaks very high. But I don't know anything about how these things work so I might be mistaken.

I would guess other than PC exclusives every other review copy would either be ps4 or xbone. And since apparently xbone copy is still being worked on one week before release ( Laughing ) it would make sense to send the ps4 one to reviewers.

Well why dont we just read the PS4 reviews and be happy and buy a nice beautiful PS4 for ourselves and play the game without any graphics settings problems? Good idea? Smile

They often send out review copies which aren't quite finished. In the case of Witcher 3 reviewers need much more time to get through the game since it's very long so it would've been prudent of CDPR to have sent out the review copies a few weeks before release date.

P* word is a big no-no at CDPR these days. Can't mention it at press-releases, can't publish P* screenshots, and certainly no game reviews using k**board and m*use.
I would expect that Witcher 4 would be a console exclusive.

they focus more marketing on consoles because that's where witcher franchise is less established. all PC gamers already know witcher.

They invited a bunch of people to play the PC version just a few weeks ago. And nearly every screenshot and video has been from the PC.

Don't care.
It will surely be worth the 10 (or 15?) orens I've paid for it based on the previous two games.

It shouldn't be too bad if the areas are large enough, like going from Skyrim > Solstheim (even though Solstheim is probably tiny in comparison).

Yeah, of all the things I would grumble about... the splitting of the "world" into several larger "zones" is actually one I'm kind of happy about. There is such a thing as *too* big when it comes to game worlds, so I'd rather several smaller zones than one enormous overwhelming landmass.

GTA5 world is really empty though with lack of content, and you can't fly or drive cars in Witcher 3.

It's just a shame about the item stats scaling to your character, exploring is gonna feel quite pointless.

Yes outside the minigames it's empty, no items to find or secrets, just generic randomly generated pedestrians and wilderness. In fact it's one of the bigger complaints about the game from what ive seen, the world is big and pretty to look at but there's not much to do in it.
