I don't think you're forced to use it. And it's not exactly new, in TW2 you could use your medallion to highlight everything around you.

That is correct, am also preloading the Good Old IAA version (thanks a bunch as usual), hoping that the "rest" of the game released on day1 won't be as big, because otherwise see you in June Geralt.

It actually looks pretty good all things considered (xbone, downgrade etc).. Sadly I don't think we'll see much difference between derpsoles versions and PC version..well, except for resolution and nvidia pubic hair tech or some shit.
