The biggest difference I see is the lack of a brown-ish color filter for the desert areas. But to be honest I like the original look of the desert more than this.
We have always appreciated the creative efforts of the PC modding community and we still fondly remember the awesome zombie invasion mod and original GTA map mod for GTAIV PC among many other classics. To be clear, the modding policy in our license has not changed and is the same as for GTAIV. Recent updates to GTAV PC had an unintended effect of making unplayable certain single player modifications. This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods.
Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways.
But perhaps they should look into integrating things like a larger FOV into MP as lots of people obviously want it.
It's GTA, not a competitive shooter. Even if you're given some minuscule advantage by having a larger FOV, it's hardly going to be *that* much of an advantage.
I wondered during this whole ban fiasco, was anyone actually banned for using mods ONLY in single player?
Never banned for SP, those loudmouths were prolly full of shit. I've seen those Cheatercommunities first hand, kids and retards everywhere, lying is just a mere means of getting what they want
Have you guys used the launcher fix from that guy posted in youtube?
I used this guy's patch and followed instructions...after that no more crashes at all...not even the "aim through car after throwing a grenade" crash...worked flawlessly!

Is anisotropic filtering working correctly with this version? Thx for the heads up.

So how do you get those returning player missions like Stock car race and wildlife photography? Read that they should appear on map after certain missions but they didn't...
Not sure that thing Harry did with PS3 worked

yeah, it didn't work for me too
Do both of you have a blimp contact on your phone? Also check the weapon store and see if you can buy a hatchet as Trevor. If so then you have the returned content.

I noticed that wildlife photography bit when i was on a later missions with Franklin and his dog, and i had to take a photo of him. Then that feature seemed to get enabled

theres been a lot of reports on steam on the last patch ruining performance+ anisotropic filtering is borked compared to gpu forced one.
that update was more than 5 days ago though I think.
Can confirm this. Don't know about standard RS version, but Steam version got fucked up. I had 50-60 fps, now on same settings drops to 40 too many times, even 35.

Thanks guys, at least i know it's nothing iv'e done!
I went to the desert airfield and managed to get higher fps on the last session. Also the rocks around the field look completely fuzzy around the edges from a distance.
