Who the fuck cares about HBAO++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ and all the random abbreviation nonsense - the geometry is clearly simplified, the textures are washed out, the lighting is poopified.

....watched the vid and it looks not bad and in the beginning it shows the Xbox shit package so its Xbox not pc right? Looks good for Xbox....but they spoilered some Yennefer action the pigs....and there is a censored tit package why is that? Will this be....no right? Its just censored for the Conan shit show!

Well if it is the case, then I really hope the optimization is good at least.  Seen too many examples of looking bad and performing bad with the last 2 console gen ports.
I can deal with a game looking bad but having good performance and gameplay, and that's the furthest I'll go.  |

I'm sure the game itself will play great (story, dialogues, humor, quests), but there really is no debate. The game got downgraded heavily.

These "downgrade" screens don't really stand out at all from other games. Lots of MicroShit money must've been thrown at them.
Not that it is necessary to point out, but the monster is the biggest difference in the last picture. Just awful looking in the second one.

No matter how many comparisons they make i still don't care as long as rest of the elements of the game deliver i.e. gameplay, storyline, side quests, voice acting etc etc

You should still care a little bit, caring wouldn't take away anything from the game itself being good. But this practice of bullshots and downgrading... people should really be vocal on it and not let this become the standard. |

yep but this practice is here for over a decade of people being vocal and it still didnt change - its only more visible now when gaming is mainstrean and its worse than before thx to consoles being underpowered on arrival

good point and majority of us are playing games for those MAIN stats like story, quests, soundtrack.... And graphics? meh. If it would look like DOOM 1 nowadays, then no one even would bother playing this game, but now graphics is still decent (like very decent) and who points graphics as a main statistic in aRPG ? Only those who are picky on game devs for not delivering what was promised. They promised a cool game and they will deliver - everyone knows this.

The reason why i don't is because i know how things work in real life. You can shout, i'm with you on that, but you won't be heard. Unless you can offer better financial incentive than they already have. Unfortunately this is the way of the world, especially when it comes to business.

I don't think the graphics potentially looking average/good is the point, it's that they might've been drastically degraded becuase they couldn't achiecve what they promised. Games should never be 'shown' long before release IMO, you never know what's possible when all the systems are in place close to release.
