I didn't, I paraphrased words you, Witch, Paul and many others have made too. The massive "rage" is because many of us expected better of the so-called PC gaming "darling", who has shown increasing tendencies to screw with their customers in exchange for playful pats on the head from their partners. Every game that has received such a marked and visible downgrade *has* received flak for it, and rightly so, but CDPR are getting what seems to be more because we EXPECTED more from them.

The way I see it, statements of "fact" regarding things that we "shouldn't get upset about" could just as easily be construed as statements of support. We SHOULD get upset about it, because if we don't then it will never change and we will constantly be lied to and cheated. You keep saying "early promotional material" but Il Padrino said it best; this wasn't little snippets, or doctored photos, this was extensive and expansive game footage that CDPR categorically stated was game footage.. and not only that, but that final game would look even better.
These aren't PR spins. These are outright lies.

Point taken.
In fact, if I recall correctly, you and I had already agreed that that was the main crux of the matter quite a few dozen pages back. 
I think we're all getting a bit touchy because the game isn't out yet and all we can do in the meantime is count the days and pass the time analyzing and speculating ad nauseam

Fair enough, I just wanted to stress, in case I gave anyone the wrong impression, that I wasn't supporting these practices. I'm just generally a pessimist by nature and unfortunately I don't think any amount of rage will change matters for the better  So I decided long ago that my approach is to always look at the final product instead of comparing it with any promotional material or statement from the company, whether it be "early material" or "late material".

well the blink is kinda big downgrade of her time/space abilities from later books
