New dump of pics from my new canon 700d. Don't have much time to learn it. Trying it every time i can. My fav pic from below is "portrait" pic of my girlfriend on the countryside Smile
Treat those mostly as test shots from person who is learning how to use dslr. Only one week in. Ofc using 18-55 stm kit lens. I have an eye on 50mm 1.8 canon prime lens... but that is further in the future.

Shame this one got cut at the top and that it focused on hair.. Or maybe its better this way

This one is like instagram material but I kinda like the colors anyway

I would really like to get into night photography and long expousures but it's not all that easy. Will get to it eventually

Krell, love the second shot. never imaginded Gdansk this way

@Sabina - thanks. I really love doing this and I am happy when even low percentage of shots taken, result in nice image. Wonder how my canon 700d (t5) would fare in below 0c temperatures, as the winter is coming.
And few more shots. Just experimenting. Dont have too much time to even look at the camera... the moon pic is very cropped and made with kit lens. Interesting thing is that, the moon pic was made when it was still bright outside

I took a pic of my car on grass and I think even though it's crappy phone quality it looks quite good considering everything is green except the car. Kinda of an interesting contrast.

Cool storm last night. Managed to snap few pics... sorry for imgur.... it's lowering quality like mad but it should be ok resized by hump to forum size, (edit: ok uploaded in smaller size and imgur don't compress files much then. maybe 18mp jpg's were too much for imgur Razz )

and bonus (wind moved the camera and on top of that, white balance sucks on this pic but hey! )

pls use Lightroom to correct balance and adjust rotation to prevent eyecancer.

Nice shots though!

Those were quick shots made from balcony... I did what i could Laughing

Sorry... but lightroom ? I never used it. Can't I just set everything in camera? Raw takes so much space and shooting with it is slow.
And what do You mean by correcting balance ?
Any example of image before and after so I have any idea how good photo should look ?
I mainly shoot stuff like what You can see on top of this page or on few last pages. Straight from the camera

It wasnt meant all that serious since it is difficult to have good color balance in night shots.

What I mostly thought about was the rotation though.

You dont need to shot in raw to use Lightroom, but it helps. Just use a cracked version and try it out, its pretty easy to use.

oh yeah... I could've at least fix the rotation. Balcony at an angle. I need to fix myself some adobe lightroom at least for that

My little hobby is watching the night sky, and I've got to say: South Sweden is really spoiling me compared to Belgium. Very Happy

The past days the Moon has treated me with some nice views just above the tree line, had some great ISS sightings as well. But man I really need to get me a good camera some day to share the views.

Tried it this time with my crappy phone but beware... you'll get eye cancer from it.

Tested out camera quality (LG G4 VS My old Xperia Z). Absolutely insane difference in low light shots. Laughing

LG G4 (resized to match Xperia Z resolution)

Xperia Z

LG G4 camera is very good, it can deliver pretty much same quality shit than my Olympus E-PM1 camera (low light shots are ofcourse better with olympus, but not much, little less noise to my eyes). But overall considering this is cellphone camera, im so pleased, no need to take Olympus with me unless i want to shoot some macro shit with big ass lenses).
