I've been out of the loop on this, how much of the original HL campaign is included in this? I remember I wanted to try it when it was just a mod but it turned out it contained only like 1/3 or half of the entire game. Has this changed?

it was different back in the days, dont think hl should be played by a 9 year old but that doesnt matter right now games were made for a different audience, today everything is for casual peasant and derpdowned as much as possible. havent seen a hard game in the last decade (minimum decade, besides the souls games), people want to get satistified easily -> thats why you dont need more than 1 try for a level / boss. thats why things like crouch jumps dont exist anymore, pressing two buttons? nooooooo way. just force a cod kiddie to play q3 and perform rocket jumps, they will fail. hell they even are not able to play with leaning options, or wait that was a design decision, it masnt made for leaning
