Whats up with that 36 ending nonsense? I always hated that, just make 2-3 "good" endings and skip that narrated slideshow stuff you know these 36 "endings" are gonna be..
iirc its like 36 end world states - and iirc 3 r 4 actual ending for Geralt, same for 3 or 4 for Ciri's story , ...
EDIT:
3 playable epilogues, 36 world states and more than 300 small variations
Quote:
"There will be 36 different endings," said Adam Badowski, managing director of CD Projekt Red.
"Thirty-six world states," corrected Michal Platkow-Gilewski, the company's head of marketing.
It's a subtle difference, but the two explained that the PS4 and PC game so thoroughly tracks player choice that the end result are a lot of changes, from the tiny to the major. When I asked the two how many smaller changes the game endings might see, Platkow-Gilewski said the team stopped tracking those when they got to 300.
The safest description, they decided, was to broadly tell players that The Witcher 3 will deliver three entirely different, playable epilogues. And those three different playable endings can only be achieved by playing through the game and making different choices, they said.
"The game is quite complex," Badowski said. "We didn't mean to develop something special for the endings, it's a natural consequence of the story line. The story has hundreds of different branches and sub plots. We have to just sum all of those elements up in the epilogues. Some of those elements are taken from the very beginning and some from other moments of the storyline. All of them will connect in the epilogue.
"We have a lot of things to summarize. We didn't spend time on inventing endings, it was just the consequence of those choices."
It's called a no-spoiler filter. The image has been intentionally made blurry to avoid spoilers, you can see that the quest tracker on the right is unreadable for that reason.

That was sarcasm right?
Since I'm thinking he judged it on the whole image and not the blurry stuff xD
(hey, it's hard these days to distinguish daftness from sarcasm )
Well I like the polish way of thinking. Fuck us with everything you got I am motherfucking ready! I wont see the 60fpsthough cause I wanna go up to 1440p and ultra
Pretty is everything with this game. And 50fps would be enough for vsync. Maybe its fucking possible without AA if not well then I will enjoy the 40fps without vsync ^^
A large preview in Russian, this guy played the game for 12 hours and recorded, lots of newish footage, there are massive spoilers about the plot but mainly in the voiceovers.
We can sum up the dicklicking past pretty good. Last year they said a 780 ti can run the fuck at 35-45 fps with max details and 4msaa. The 980 now 60 (with or without msaa?!) that sounds like downgrade.
Then some polish bear said a few weeks months ago optimization towards 30fps is the goal now its 60? No no downgrade....they realised the game is bullshit with 30fps in 1080p they couldnt believe it themselves.
But nevertheless I will tear Yennefer apart. No magical barriere down there can keep me out. Geralt will have the right spell to open up!
You wanna fuck them women and monsters brute force without hesitation like a console disciple? Is that what you wanna know? The game will be out for the consoles....question answered?

Dont understand you. Yes or No? i think the developers told once that you can skip RPG elements..
I want the game now. I wanna play the fucking great Witcher game now! Where is it I am rdy! When is the gog preload and how will it work? What kind of social club dickloader will it be?
I haven't been paying a lot of attention to this thread or to the previews.
So a quick question: Has anything been said about how good (or bad) the optimization of the PC version is?

what do you mean? the console version also works on pc ?
I think the easiest difficulty does exactly that, from what I saw/heard in one of the event reviews.
Mmmeeeh, you can do it on the hardest difficulty as well. I remember the Beast from Witcher 1 being hard but not impossible if you didn't take a potion beforehand. I doubt this will be much different. Though I don't know why anyone would want to forgo the use of potions now, as you can pop a pot mid-combat?
and while they like it the review itself is kind of....luke-warm to be honest. I'll write out the most important stuff in a second, there are some worrying things there. Meanwhile- quick scans:
haha, nice comment there about the downgrade "as for the downgrade, as far as I remember at the gamescom presentation the Igni also ignited the leaves on the ground, and in the final version it cheerfully ignores them. No other downgrade apart from that"
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
