The question on twitter was answered: No downgrade....well fuck me through and through wild stuff like with Watch Dogs. It is happening again. On the other hand I could shit on these "pics"...what I've seen from trailers and that Nvidia showcase the game looks great so lets be optimistic shemales!
In Witcher 2 if you play only the main story withouth doing any side quests you'll beat the game in beetween 12 - 15 hours. And I doubt it takes 55 hours to do main quest+ all side quests.
TW3 beat time is supposedly 50 hours of main story plus 50 hours of side quests. It remains to be seen if this is true...
So they're officiall from CDP. I doubt they would show images with lower details than possible, that would be idiotic.
You know what's funny? Not a single person here has told, or attempted to dictate to, anyone that they should stop posting positive things about the game, the visuals, the presentation, the content or the company. Not one. None of us. Yet the same few people, always the same few, dictate to everyone else that they should stop discussing some facet that they don't like.
What I've seen from Yennefer so far is not bad especially that exploding titholder from that one trailer. I was bought after that so the game is not yet a total loss for me!

The best anyone could come up with was "but graphics doesnt matter, i used to play text adventures!" or "it looks fine to me" etc. so why stop with graphics then.. let the devs downgrade A.I, map size, quest amount and let them get away with it + defend it at all cost.. "But it's still kind of a decent game, so no one should even think about complaining!!" i kind of said something like that and then all i got was a "i don't understand". Doh.

Which people? Certainly nobody in this thread, everyone is excited and incredibly hyped for release. Just because some of us point out a few obvious flaws and causes for concern, doesn't mean we're forgetting what's good - or potentially good - about the game. Speaking of which;

Right with what? That it's perfectly ok for CDP to say 1) That there is no graphics downgrade whatsoever (when everyone can see it. 2) That the graphics will look much better once the new renderering is in (it's in, and it clearly doesnt look better).
Whats up with that 36 ending nonsense? I always hated that, just make 2-3 "good" endings and skip that narrated slideshow stuff you know these 36 "endings" are gonna be.
They really seem confident by adding the instead of a metacritic score. Or they already know most of the review scores.

It's probably going to be minor variations of a few endings like in TW2.
It might be a problem with the video quality. People who played it recently said it ran at almost a constant 60 fps on ultra with a single gtx 980. The only big issue I noticed in some of the videos was a short freeze when they'd go from land to water, but CD Projekt told them it's a known bug that will be fixed.
It might also be the PS4 since journalists got their review copies for that system a couple days ago. Actually nevermind it's not, I just noticed Xbox button icons. So it's either XB1 or PC with a controller.
