Can i just disabe the cd drive in Proparties - Manage Hardware in windows and - disable?

Is that it for sure? No SFCure? That doesn't seem so bad. Obviously the Virtual IDE plug in for Pro is what we all want. At least we don't have to unplug our IDE Drives anymore.
Also, I tried to post at Daemon Tools forums and they are screening posts and not letting them go through if they say anything negative about DTools 4.0 or about paying customers already getting DTools 4.0. Pathetic if you ask me.

Well.. it's Confirmed that this WORKS!!!
At least with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory!!
Installed Dt4 , rebooted , mounted image , instaled game , rebooted because of Starforce , opened SFN , desabled NODE, desable CD, desable NODE and RUN game!!
huhuhuhuh 
Now i will see if i have space enough to install a game with newer version of Starforce...

ok i've tested it,all i can say is i 'am disappointed .ok you doesn't need to disable ide channel(disable only cd and node,at least for sf <3.5),and for securom 7 you need also to disable drive like sf.
So i think this program isn't very useful,but i hope DT pro will be better.someone can confirm you don't need to unplug ide drive for sf >3.5 ??

NOW CAN someone please tell me what DO i do for the laptop? Can I just disbale the CD using windows Manage Hardware ?

dtools pro u mean? sure u wont need. for safedisc and securom here u can keep using sdhyde and securomstop if u want till dtoolspro is out

hmmm I tired D4 with my King Kong copy and it didn't work. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong... I'm about to test SC right now however.

k official. every single sfcure and sfclones releases works with dtools4 disabling drives with sfnightmare... no need to have 50 new releases for every game, mirrors/itwins are good

install the game with daemon tool v4
launch staforce nigtmare and disable node and disable cd
i run the game in daemon tool
it DOESN't work with the suffering 2 ! why ? perhaps i doing somethnig wrong but what ??
