They probably gave this project (DiRT Rally) to a smaller team and their main title (DiRT4) will be the same as DiRT3 without the rally modes.

There is already a release out for the early access.
3 locations/36 stages is not bad at all. I see there's positive feedback about the handling/driving model.

I don't remember well then. I thought it was 2002 for both.

Come on guys, it won't stay PC exclusive. They just claim that to milk early-access-money.

I was thinking the same. Have they spent all their money on drugs, chicks and paid for Ken or do they really want community feedback?

They couldn't choose a more idiotic driver than Block as image, who spins a car around in a gazillion takes and when put on a real rally stage, his best friends are trees or bushes - well, no "rewind" button IRL.

dont think scene cares about early access stuff, have to wait for some p2p group to crack the usual steam ceg protection. if i read correctly codemasters plans monthly updates, but before i pay for that i wanna try it

Yup it should be the same protection as F1 2014, so a Yarr is definitely doable. Only some patience and we'll see whether this is an elaborate ruse or not. Razz
The early access is very silly, but as long as it's a one-time-only sort of thing I guess it could work. (Not that I have any plans to buy it, I trust Codemasters as much as a salmon trusts a bear)

Just tried it for a minute, didn't have more time..
Ego engine, great graphics, excelent sound i must say. Tried it on keyboard, and it feels just a bit less responsive. I'll try to give it a go on gamepad, and fiddle with graphics settings a bit..
It feels good, but i'll have to try again - probably tomorrow or the day after..
