Anyone has an idea what do I have to do in the "Dissorted dimensions" mission? I'm lost.

Thanks!

Guys if you've got a console I would recommend you play it on that, it's predominantly a console game anyway, plus the control scheme is geared towards consoles.

It seems almost everyone who plays it on PC is having a bad experience, not least because of performance.

The console version is far from perfect, but it's definitely an enjoyable distraction. At least a 7.5/10.

Agreed. After my copy from Gamefly came yesterday I stopped playing the PC version and have been playing the PS2 version. Plays much better on a console.

Think I've got this figured out. If, when you installed Alcohol or Daemon Tools, you kept the default names for the drivers, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall the software. This time, choose your own names for those drivers, because Securom is hard-coded to look for the default names. I uninstalled Alcohol and reinstalled it in expert mode (minus the StarWind iScsi service), choosing some random names for the drivers. Then I took the same steps I did for Daemon Tools (this time denying permissions on HKLM/Software/Alcohol Soft instead of HKLM/Software/D-Tools) and it worked.

Well renaming the drivers when I reinstalled DT worked. To my disappointment the patch didn't fix the framerate issues I was having. Very aggravating

works, good job.

only thing that sucks about this, is you have to go back and forth in your registry in order to make A120 work again if you dont allow READ again for A120 you wont be able to mount any images. So you need to mount NEO then DENY READ in HKLM/SOFTWARE/A120 then when you are done you have to revert back.

hey kalvascorp, I found an alternate method for the part where you DENY for HKLM/SOFTWARE/AlcoholSoft. Instead of DENY read dont deny anything.
Just go into that reg setting and you will see 2 entries called ar347_0 and ar347_1

I changed ar347_1 to ar347_X1 and now it works patched without having to deny read for that entry. Now I don't have to go back and forth in the registry to revert it to get A120 to work again. Permantent fix.

I am using the patch and the original .bin file. Does anybody know what fixes I am missing by not using the new .bin file?

Also, I am using the Logitech Dual Action USB controller. Has anybody figured out how to do the disarm move? I know the keyboard control is button Q and right mouse. I have no clue how to do it with the controller.

Thanks!

In the PS2 version it's the Circle button then R1 so I'm guessing it would be the same for that controller cause it's the same design.

You need to set the graphics down to 8 because your card doesnt support pixel shader 3.0. grasphics level 9 and 10 is PS3.0

anyone figured out a way to remap the controller keys? i use a saitek p880 and its really hard to do any thooting or slow mo because my L1 and R1 are face buttons on the controller. in order for me to aim, shoot and slowmo i have to hold the right trigger with my index finger, press and hold the 5 button which would be #3 on a saturn/genesis 6 button and while holdindg these somehow tap 6 which is right under 5 with the same thumb im using to hold down 5.
Code:

O-O-O
1-2-5
_____
O-O-O
3-4-6

really? most reviews said the voice acting was really good in this game...

anyways is there any point of getting 1.1? does it upgrade the graphics at all?

u mean u actualy got yourself another pain instead the other disabling via SR Stop is much easier than disabling cd in SFn or am i wrong
anyways the only thing patch fixed is couple of bugs[leaving other millions unfixed] & wierd sound crakles but uninstalled cause of the same assed perfomance & terrible aiming + fuked up animations, geez if anyone remembers Syphon Filter game on ps1 had great anim's & same is for voice acting & music compare to this game but damn that game is 6 years old Rolling Eyes
