I'm using a 280x. After playing for 30 minutes to an hour, the game just starts stuttering. Before that it is normal. I searched around the internet and fount out that there are more unlucky souls like me having this problem. They say the first patch has fixed this, but nothing changed here. This is seriously breaking the fun I have with this game.
Are you supposed to do the assasinations after finishing the main game to buy the stupid golf club?
Most likely, they're recommended to do after the story since you'll be able to control the market easier with a *lot* more money to play with. The amount of money you'd get from dumping your cash into the right stocks before and after the assassination missions is, as a rule, drastically less than what you'd have at the end - meaning your profits are that much lower.

Strange question.. but... do you keep your browser open while playing? I've got an nV card so it's a different situation, sure, but in my experience the game will play flawlessly for hours at a time, unless I have Chrome open in the background. If Chrome is loaded, the game stutters and hitches after about an hour of play, more or less.

It's of no use to me anyhow since I'm "offline" () on the PC version, no connection to iFruit or BAWSAQ.

I started to cloes everything working on the background since I've been having stutters. Nothing, even steam is not working while I play GTA5. But still it stutters...

Tried 3 different versions, all of them with crack v2, game boots up fine, I sign into RGSC but then I get a message about RGSC being unable to connect to the internet and either options results in the game closing itself.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

v2 crack doesn't work any more, internet authentication is needed. Get v3 or v4 crack

I've got the same problem as well with a GTX 660, trust me, nothing that you try to fix it works. We have to wait for either a patch from R* or new driver from nVidia/AMD.
It's fucking dumb since I basically cannot play the game at all.

Have you tried setting GTA5 executable to High priority in task manager? Adaptive vsync also in CP?
Using AMD 7870. I downloaded the Radeon Pro tool and set up a profile for GTAV, I set vsync control to Dynamic and Forced Process to high priority. Game was already smooth but this seemed to have improved things once more.

Not sure about the logic behind this but alt-tabbing to windows then back to game works for me most of the time. Also, turning v-synch off then back on seems to do the trick. Looking at my ram makes me think there is a memory leak. There might be a driver problem as well (AMD). Games that worked perfectly before are stuttering with the new beta driver.

That's not it. Those certain situations come up only around half hour in and the "fixes" I use help for another half hour or so. Other then that game runs amazing on my R9 270x.
