Hi all,

I recently stumbled over this OC guide for ASRock motherboards with Sandy/Ivy-Bridge CPUs.

It helped me chose the right settings and to reduce max Vcore at same freq under full load from 1.360v to 1.280v, which is not all that insignificant.

It goes very in-depth and every option is explained. Some options werent available on my Mobo, but overall ASRock mobos generally have common/similar options.

"There will be no end to the troubles of humanity, until philosophers become kings, or kings become philosophers.", Plato.
"Hyperbole will destroy us all.", Matt Dillahunty.
"The hyperbole, the demonization of the other opinion and the unwillingness to even read the opposing opinion destroys the so important political discussions necessary for the well functioning of society.", Couleur

Here's hoping my 2600k is still alive, better yet that the mobo I bought is functional. Very Happy
