Worked fine so far, now I can't get into the game anymore. The game's loading screen just says "Loading Story Mode" and cycles through character pictures infinitely

1080p60 at high settings isn't doable on a machine like that i think.
i'm playing with a 260x and high settings 900p nets me 45-60 frames.

Thanks to the calculator AMD APU cpu inside of those shit machines, its like AMD duron compared to i3 raw power, even tho it has 8 cores.

I managed to fix the prologue issue but now I have an issue where the fucker won't shoot out of the car in the first mission, I can't hit the biker dude. Wtf

The 750ti is quite a beast! Don't underestimate it.

Hrm. The first part of the game was really smooth, but once I got to the end of the first heist, it became a bit of a crash-a-thon. Crashes with aiming in cars, on character swapping, etc. No news of a specific for it in the works that I can see, although supposedly there's a patch coming today to fix the username character issue, so perhaps they'll have some other stuff in that.

Oddly enough, first person mode makes you walk faster - I haven't find any way to actually walk faster in third person unless I sprint. First person view also makes you move faster and more smoothly so it's definitely good to have it.

On a side note: Internet was out for two hours yesterday and I could play GTA V just fine - it offers an offline mode and I played until Internet came back up so for those worried about "always online", you can still play while offline.

You can also set the options so car and on foot can remember different camera settings. So when you're on foot you can be fps, but once you get into a car, it'll automatically switch to 3rd if that's the last camera angle you drove with. So you won't have to manually switch every time.
