Maybe you need to overclock it. I'm on Q9550 @3.4 Ghz and I'm even slightly beating that chart with my specs.

Is that legit? Confused

I checked if the launcher was using CPU while I was playing, but it was sitting at 0% all the time, so I don't know if it works, but the above doesn't apply for me.

Yeah, same here, doesn't apply for me either. I get insane CPU usage (sitting on 100% all cores) when I'm listening to my own music on Self Radio, though :\

Have you seen "Reflections quality" set to "Normal"? I had it set to "Normal" for a while but I didn't pay attention to reflections. However, when I got to a barber shop and I finally saw my reflection in the mirror I was like WTF!? Very Happy

Check this out:

Reflections Quality (Normal-High-Very High-Ultra).

 Spoiler:

Damn.. I set it to Ultra.. I've lost quite a few fps but I can't bear this pixelated abomination Laughing

Maybe obvious but make sure to test out the 15.4 beta driver for AMD graphic cards. I was previously using 14.12 driver and the game was running pretty decent, installed the beta driver and the game is running stutter free and is really smooth.

I'm on an i5 2500k@4.4GHz with a radeon 7870 3gb and 12 GB Memory and its buttery goodness with mostly high/very high settings.

Rockstar has optimized this game and delayed it 3 times for that, there is no such thing! Cool Face

Because they can't. I don't think any of the old blood is even still in RELOADED, or any of the "primary" scene groups, any more. Everything they do now is just quick hash Steam Emu releases, or a cracked de-CEG'd exe, again, from Steam.

not so long ago people were mocking chineese guys 3dm and right now when it comes to actually cracking games they are only ones doing it. As sad as it is, "scene" is only names right now, former glory is gone and probably will never come back.

Yeah but it's the Rockstar Social "thing" that's the DRM this time, the activation on that is what prevents playing, even if you use a Steam emu to get around Steam's own DRM.

@ragnarus

Aye mate, completely agreed. 3DM and ALI have being kicking some serious ass of late. They were the first to break Sims 4, they were the ONLY ones to break Fifa 15 and Dragon Age Inquisition.

So what's the hot shit video card(s) to have for this? I've been using a 7850 that overclocks very well for the last 2+ years. I want to move it into another box and I've put off buying another card for the last year because I figured this game would have beastly requirements (especially after all the super dooper HD mods come out).

I've got 16GB of ram and an i7 4790k. I'll be playing in 1920 x 1200 preferably with everything maxed, or as close to it as I can get for the 300 to 400 dollar range.

One thing that's driving me nuts is the controls for Heli and Planes are the same. ffs, the handling on each is totally different, they should have independent settings for each :/

It's not like im asking for one control scheme for each plane here. Even battlefield has a different control scheme for planes and helis.
The control scheme im using for heli is perfect, but when it comes to planes it's just unplayable.

Same exact rig setup I got but 16G ram (which doesn't make a difference). The few settings that are unnoticeable unless you stop and stare at something while toggling it to notice a difference, I got set to normal.
But it runs 60fps 95% of the time dipping to maybe 55ish at times, with a high 40's if it gets really busy.
I myself am really pleased how well it runs on my rig.
