Sorry for rage
edit: what makes me rage is that they can't provide proper DL servers... or proper files | Maybe if you paid $60 instead of $40 they could *afford* better servers, remember that when your mouse pointer is hovering over the pre-hurrdurr button for GTAVI

If you have an Nvidia card try using TXAA, it's blurry but gets rid of most aliasing.

Damn this game
Looks gorgeous, mouse controls are great and responsive, driving feels good (finally, it's great to have some physics again in this genre), and more importantly, it runs very well without any stuttering/nastiness.
I'm on a i5 2500k(@4.3Ghz), 8GB RAM, GTX970 and I get practically constant 60fps (at 1080p, FXAA&MSAA 2X, everything maxed out minus Nvidia's shadows). This is without touching the extra sliders and shadows from the "advanced graphics" though, with those maxed out as well the game is definitely more demanding, 3500MB are needed and I get 50ish fps average. Still, considerably better than I expected.
The only "problem" that I can see (more like first world PC gamer problem), is that shooting is easy, very easy. 9 times out of 10 it's happy headshot time with the AI not being quick enough to shoot back.

No just launcher to get to the menu. Game requires activation file for offline which is surely encrypted and most probably hardware bound so crack can take really long time IMO.

This is true for most small fights
I have found so far that the shooting range is harder than console versions, big police fights with multiple helicopters + SWAT guys on vans are hard, and if I'm not mistaken there is recoil (if you shoot targets at the club you can see it doesn't always land exactly where you shoot) |
Hah that's good to hear, I haven't caused enough global mayhem yet, just some local ruckus with the polees. Will do that tomorrow, even though I'm tempted to play all night like I used to do 10 years ago

Anyone considering spending the extra $20 on buying the discs for this game, needs to know what I just discovered, that after rssc activation etc (I.E. the point of no return/ no refund), the game announce that it 'only' has another 5 gigs to download, something that the rssc download manager reckons will take 5 hours n 20 minutes at the 170 kb/sec the game only seems able to manage.
I know I live out way past the black stump & downloads aren't great but 1.5 Mb/sec is the average speed stuff usually comes in at.

i7, single 980GTX, GSync:
took off MSAA, TXAA and HR shadows, getting ~100 most of the time - what a delight!
Who would of thought, GTA running in 100FPS...

So guys, any way to take screenshots on Snapmatic in free-roam? Like, a picture-edit mode?

Well shit, can't even start the game. Press the launcher, and it gives me "grand theft auto v exited unexpectedly..." "try safe mode or retry". Pressing safe mode or retry doesn't do anything. Seems to be a common problem by looking at rockstar and steam website.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.
