I wish some of these graphics settings had descriptions. Like "long shadows". Wtf? I can only assume that's something to do with shadows being lengthened during sunrise and sunset.

It runs amazing for me, and we got the same CPU, videocard I cant remember if it is.
Granted Im on whatever the default settings are other than a few tweaks and 1920x1200. But other than a few dips to 55ish it stays around 60 for me.
Im sure if I cranked everything up to max it would dip down, but bumping up the texture res, shadows, ambient occul, and such a bit it looks great, and runs 100x better than GTA4 did.
I was expecting far worse, I'm pleasantly surprised how well it runs and looks.

Not even 5 secs, but they were pretty close together.
7 secs from Franklin near his aunts place to Michaels house, that's pretty fast.

GTX 970 here i7 4770 16 gb ram. Everything as high as it can (except for high resolution shadows in the advanced tab, it's bullshit.) 4x MSAA and it runs silky smooth. No fps drops, no glitches no nothing. This is by far the most high end game in this fucking shit right now. It plays like max payne, the character feels like that. Its smooth. This game is the shit.

If you bought it on Steam, you need to activate your pre-order bonus code. (Where... I don't know)

I see that you haven't set some settings on ultra though.Reflections are off etc

You get some messages pop up not long after playing Franklin telling you they are unlocked, then more not long after.

Reflection MSAA is off, not reflections. I don't think it will make that much of a visual improvement... I dunno.

I had that the first time I launched the game. The second time it just worked.

I get 60+ fps in the city when I drive a car and 35-40 fps outside the city where lots of grass and stuff

The last 4 games I purchased were FarCry3, Hitman Absolution, Deus Ex HR, and Skyrim.
As you can tell, I very rarely make game purchases. Keeping that in mind, is game worthy of being #5?
