I've cheated but i've never had a gf for 3 years so it's not as 'shocking'. Cheating can happen on a spur of the moment thing, boredom, an argument. Anything you probably don't know the whole story and I don't think you're mate would cheat because he could.

so i dont see how cheating a gf (which you probably love...) would make you feel better

well how do you know he loved her at that moment in time? He coulda been angry / drunk / opportunistic.
People don't cheat to feel better. One time I cheated on my gf with her cousin because she was being boring and wouldnt come to a new years eve party. Felt a bit guilty but I didn't love her so i'm not too botherd. it's all a learning curve

cheating should be illegal... i'm not joking, the penalty should be a bit less than misd. assault or possibly a bit less than felony assault.

Only real assholes cheats on their gf... I really think that. I have never cheated when being together with anyone and I do not intend to do it either.
If you are having a good relationship with a person you like why even risk fucking it up by cheating? I can't see how it would ever be a reason to cheat. As an argument? That must be the worst way to do it then.
If you think about it... You have cheated on them but I guess you would be really pissed of if you found out about them cheating on you? How about you show them some respect too? God damn, I am with Max here...

My other half is a Witch, she made me get down on my knees and confess my cheating by invading my mind and making me think I was dead and about to enter Hell ( I could even smell the sulphur)...never been so scared in my life, it took about 2 days for my heart to return to a normal beat.
But all is well and good now, it's not like I'm totally fucked up now or anything.
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

Maybe she didnt like sex, a very horny guy and a girl who wants it maybe a couple times a months would have a hard time together.
Nope i never cheated, if i got a gf and i want to cheat i would break up first.

a female freind of mine (who is single) has just kinda ended an affair as such with a guy who is in a long term relationship of 4 years. His girl found out that they were seeing eachother on the side now ive got to watch my back because i knew the whole time and she is pissed with me for not telling her. Oh well, lifes a bitch, my girlfreind and i are happy so id never cheat and im sure she wouldnt cheat on me either.

My conscience doesn’t allow me to cheat if I’m with someone special. I even avoid situations that could lead to accidental sex with someone else, for instance not getting too drunk with mates if she’s not there.
But right now I'm with CRA$H, open relationships all the way so none of this matters.

Cheating (as in having 1 stable partner and occasionally seeing others on the side) is stupid.
My personal preference is having 2-3 steady, independent relationships. You have to be very careful, but it's possible.

Nope I never said a word about it and she never mentioned she knew anything about it.We broke up a cpl months later and nothing was ever said about it but living with the guilt while still with her was one of the worst experiences I've had.I guess it comes down to how big of a conscience you have and how you deal with guilt.Lots of my friends have cheated on lots of their gf's all the time and appear to not be bothered by it but I know that guilt of cheating drives me nuts.

I dunno....ive been cheated on and man, there's just something about knowing another guy has dugout ur girl....its fuckin disgusting and sickening. I'd think women feel the same way.
Obviously, ur friend is having some sort of issue with his GF, u should ask him about it.
As for me personally, Ive never cheated on a woman - ive broken up with women for other women, but never cheated and I never well...its disgusting and in a way, its a form of abuse imo. And really, one nite of lust cant compare to making love to someone who u truly care about.
