maybe u should add a digital clock to your bday wishlist as well Very Happy

@andreaspooky: not needed, 360 controller is supported directly, one controller needs drivers via windows update (or download manual from ms) and gets detected as 360 controller as well after that

That's the point, it's VERY needed in certain games. Not every game supports xinput and sometimes not every game allows any kind of remapping, which you can't do on the 360 controller. For that you need tools and remappers, etc. Some games don't read the dpad as an input, even if they're older 2D games, forcing you to use the left stick instead.. which is so not fun Sad

I have a 360 controller my self using on the pc, never mapped those as the default settings are perfect for me. However the left stick has small issues now and i need to remap this. I remapped those in windows itself

Do we know what protection the game has?

If that Chinese GMG method works I might buy it if the crack isn't out until Tuesday evening, 13 GBP isn't that awful of a price. Then again the online doesn't seem very exciting.

@sabin1981

If anyone's using the One Controller for V, it's supported out of the box they said. The game has 'missing files' protection, commonly used so I heard!

@Keit Why shouldn't it be exciting? Read yourself up on it, it's such an expansive experience.

From what I gathered when everyone was playing it on the consoles the online part was mostly just a destruction derby where people played it like it was Just Cause 2 MP. It doesn't seem that exciting to have other online players just try to shoot you on sight. Maybe it works better if you are in some dedicated "crew" but having to get that together every time seems like a bother.

If you sent it to me earlier then it's all good, I still have people added on the new list that aren't on the old.

edit: Checked back, I have no PM from you man. Pitzzu might help you out, just ask, the worst that can happen is that he says no

You could check if the Returning Bonus is retroactive, then I can look if I do yours the next days sometime.

There were rumors of GTA5 using gameworks, but nothing solid came out of it. The game is listed on Nvidia's website, but not in the gameworks section as far as I can tell.
Searching both terms together on google gave me websites discussing the rumors, and one very poorly written website "confirming" it. (Because of TXAA)
Similarly, AMD lists the game, but in their case it actually seems to be in the Gaming Evolved section.

When it comes to AMD and Nvidia support: we already know that GTA5 uses tech belonging to both companies. They both offer their own form of shadows + Nvidia offers TXAA.

At this point, who knows. Nvidia looks better for releasing their driver on the same day, but I'm gonna wait until we see benchmarks. The PC version was originally leaked through AMD drivers, wouldn't come as a shock if both companies performed equally well on this one.
