It's missing the TXAA settting which we've seen in screens, but I guess if he's using an AMD card it might not show up. Whatever he's linking to is probably a virus and he went through a lot of trouble trying to convince people it's real.

About piracy protection, quoting the readme file:

"...internet connection required for activation, online play, and periodic entitlement verification"

Being internet a requirement, they can really "play" with the protection a lot, making this game a nightmare for crackers. I think this is going to be interesting.

More of the readme, interesting:

"authentication software that recognizes certain hardware attributes for entitlement"

That means my installation is not going to work in a different computer without first connecting to internet and authenticate?

yep but it could mean anything
from just simple HW + account lock or check to stuff like cpuCEG or Denuvo , who encrypts the executables/DLLs with HWid info

PostPosted: Sat, 11th Apr 2015 02:27    Post subject: Lurker here since... years ago.. nforce days
I went out and bought a ps3 for ease of use new a couple of years ago expecting it to be great for easy gaming, power efficiency etc, first and foremost I loaded it with cracked firmware straight after buying it, downloaded a load of games and guess what? All games looked inferior to any game I already had on pc, worse than I ever thought, although Gran Turismo was good in a way, shame its not ever made it to PC!

Anyway I had loads of fun playing GTA5 on ps3, but it was awful to look at graphically and frame rate wise, painful infact, so I just bit the bullet and pre-ordered, and I'm running a ASUS P6T Deluxe, Core I7 920 overclocked and stable since 2008 to 4ghz, 6gb of some shit hot ram I can't remember what make, GTX670 and every game I chuck at it runs fine at 1080p so I cant see anyone having issues with todays technology...

I reckon I'll be OK... If not new system it is internally...But sadly it's not worth me upgrading to 4K as I have a 3D 1080P TV, 3D 1080P Projector, AV receiver that only handles 3D/2D 1080p signals and my PC is in the front room, so sod that, as would cost a fortune to replace it all..

Experience?

Gaming since Horace goes Skiing(ZX81)

PS: I am thinking of upgrading the whole system but if it works it works! The PC cost a small fortune when I built it, that's bang for the buck for lasting this long and still playing anything I throw at it, albeit I've swapped graphics cards a few times though.

Good evenings sir!... May I have your bank account details and sortcode please...

My experience was slightly different, I bought an xbox 360 and wanted to load the modified firmware right away, so I also bought the ck3 pro with probe. Guess what, in one second I fried the DVD controller and dumped the console in the bin. What an exciting day.

Yeah my brother used to play that, that was years back, my dad used to own a second hand computer shop back in the day, I was lucky enough to get to play on anything new that came in after school but all my brothers and me had either spectrums and C64's.[/quote]

Yeah true! some great memories were on the c64 when some lad gave me a tape with a load of games on it, the turbo loader cracked games and homebrew games like "sex games" and loads of other fucked up ones people had created for a laugh.
