@ lolozaur theres an illusiion wall near the loyce knight room after the 3 golem room,its just round the corner looks like a dead end but the illusion wall is on the right.

Its found in Crown of the Ivory King DLC (symbol of avarice from DS1 raises item find and souls)

Im currently starting this game, i played about 20 hours of the first game, didnt finish, (the ps3 wasnt mine) now im on PC playing DS2, just got the majula mansion key, putting points on adapt and endurance on my knight.
Any tips, tricks, stuff that i should look out for?

buy the twin dragon greatshield from the guy in majula and find the bastard sword in forest of the fallen giant, these 2 helped my knight for a long time

Thanks man, im going slowly but steady, im not one of the best ds players, kinda struggling, didnt finish the first one, but i really want to play and hopefuly even like this game..

Thanks, im still trying to kill that first knight, that is near the bonfire..near the wall you blow up..
btw should i keep regular backups of the saves, since this game is kinda hardcore and based on individual progress (you cant realy download save for a souls game) or are they not gonna break easily?

U dont have to keep backups no, save games never broke for me or anyone i knew.
besides having backups can defeat the purpose of the game somewhat, instead of learning from ur mistakes u just reload an earlier save.

they broke for me couple times with GfWL version of DS1 , but since that one migrated to steamworks no problems aswell as with DS2

That's where the ones for the normal game go too I think. The format for SotS is DS2SOFS0000 and for the normal game it's DARKSII0000

well i remember first time i got to sens fortress and died a gazillion times yet still had no problem trying again and learning the damn area whereas now i just reached the first dlc and got zero patience or desire to go through the damn stage. it seems so pointless and unexciting, no idea why

I would only use them if they broke though.
Trying to kill the pursuer atm, died a few times already..lets see how this goes, i didnt play much of the first game, but it was enough i think to prepare me for this one..

That area is the weakest out of all the 3 DLC's. The boss there is probably the strongest in the whole game though.
On the other hand the area in Ivory King DLC is fantastic.
