how you can say this is rediculously stupid , is beyond me .

This will ( either onlive or some other varioation or company ) be a massive precence in the gaming industry in the future .

If they get the tech is right , its going to be huge cash cow , and not requiring upgrades to run the latest games will be a massive hook .

you will also then start to see game developers concentrating on creating games that are optimised for this type of thing

bury your heads in the sand all you like , but its comming

The only constant is change , adapt or die tbfh

I love title of this topic.

Onlive was kinda cool for spectacing and playing on netbook but the lag was always like half a second

Yeah, gotta invent that amazomg technology that defies laws of physics to deliver online streaming with no latency. Laughing Perhaps an Einstein-Rosen bridge between consumer and server farm, and have the cables bend space in the fifth dimension.

The last time that I tried it, there was so much lag that I could barely control my character..it was simply insane and completely unplayable of course.
This is how it looked like on my 4Mbit (which is the average speed in my area):
 Spoiler:

Rip Onlive, you will definitely not be missed! Laughing
