You need the Warden's lodge or w/e it's called.

Warden's Lodge. It's on the far left of the stronghold, outside the walls.
The guy in there gives you the quests.

Any news about when a patch might be inbound? |
You can fix companions by dismissing them and rehiring them I think. You can fix main character with this cheatengine table:
http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/30x84n/unofficial_bugfix_easy_fix_for_attributesdefences/
As for patch, I've not seen anything other than the "this week". |
Apparently bloated saves are getting a fix also.
Quote: | So, this will be fixed in the patch coming out (should be this week). Player traps that have been destroyed will no longer save their destroyed state in the save data. Also, we wrote a cleanup function that will remove any destroyed player traps from your save game when you first load it so you won't need to run any external save file cleaner.
On our test, Depili's MobileObjects file went from 44MB to 4.5MB so it should reduce a lot of the bloat you are getting from player traps.
There won't be any other save file reduction going into this patch but we'll keep investigating anything that looks like it shouldn't be there. If anyone notices anything that seems odd, let us know and we can look to get that cleaned out in the following patch. |

140 HP? That doesn't sound so strange, to be honest. You must be level 7 or 8 by now. So Eder, for example, should've like 42+7*14=140. Plus constitution bonus, giving him around 180 HP, give or take.
I'm level 9 and both my Kana and Sagani sit at 148 HP. But it's exactly what they should have at this level.
The only one I'm running with who's a bit weaker in this regard is Aloth (90).

Your character is as bugged as his profile picture would suggest

They're talking about Endurance not Health.

Ah, dammit, I meant Endurance, sorry. Your guy is fine.
140 Health wouldn't be a buff, so I assumed he meant Endurance.

If you want good weapons, go buy them in the Salty Mast brothel. They are pretty sweet(Exceptional).
Won't spoil how to get into the prestigious VIP club of CRPGs with the weapons, though.

The developer of Age of Decadence sells some nice shit in-game, tempting to kill his NPC for all the AOD delays though.

Ah, so you can get in there. I thought it must have been some special reward for high tier backers or something.

Game was kinda underwhelming at the end.
Spoiler: |
Thaos was kinda underwhelming. No real reason as to why he does what he does outside of maintaining the AIs him and his people cooked up.
But it doesn't really say why the builders died out. I mean it's not like everyone of them sacrificed their souls to fuel the creation of the gods. The missionaries elf woman spirit talked about were builders, so they weren't wiped out.
And if they did sacrifice their entire civilization towards the creation of the gods, their reason for doing so is pretty shallow.
"Oh no, it looks like there are no gods. All there is is the wheel and we know nothing. And if people found out there would be chaos. Better wipe out our entire civilization and create gods."
It just didn't feel like a rational response, and if Thaos is anything to judge their civilization by it doesn't sound like something they would do. Perhaps Thaos is jaded because he's all alone journeying for eternity to keep the gods' fires burning, which is cool, but not with his backstory of sacrificing his people (and maybe his wife?) because there were no gods. Maybe a more immediate threat? Too cliche, but makes more sense.
Avellone's companions were pretty cool. So cool that I think having the game set during the Saint's War would have made for a more interesting game plotwise. Durance has probably the best story out of all the companions. That could have been your player. Game starts out with you as a follower of your chosen god, Eothas starts shit, your god tasks you with building the godhammer, boom, you get betrayed, you don't know it, you wander aimlessly seeking redemption until the expansion set in the game's current time and discover the truth and thus take up arms to kill your god.
Or maybe you're like Eder's bro and you follow Eothas, boom godhammer, persecution, expansion starts, get revenge.
At least it makes for a more interesting tale than being compelled to chase Thaos around because in a past life, he didn't give you a definite answer to your question, and you must know the answer.
Game could have done with a longer main quest, and a couple of sidequests that tie in with the main quest to flesh things out. Finding birds? That could have been spent on a better quest.
|
Enjoyed the game though, just a bit letdown by the pacing once you get to Twin Elms. Waiting for the patch before my next char.

Well, story goes to hell when you notice Aedyr is England, Glanfathans are Indians, and Dyrwoodans are good Americans with secret service at the helm.
First conversation with Lady Webb is especially pathetic propaganda. I had some hope for main story, but it went downhill fast.

Wow, that's a pretty dubious message.

Truly gone fishing.

I still can't play, because there still isn't patch.
Apologist fanboys on the official forums are bullying anyone and everyone, who dares ask the completely legitimate question of: when the fuck can I enjoy the product I payed for.
"It's a complex issue to solve" is hardly an answer, if I believe that at all to begin with.
Still love the game, but I have time to finish it this weekend, not later. They better have that patch today, ffs.

Yeah.. it's pretty hostile there And it's not only when you talk about issues but also if you question some dubious mechanics the game has ...
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Just read in a thread, that patch *should* be done by tomorrow evening (so that's saturday for us EU folk). I have the GOG version, so they rarely patch on holidays, from what I've seen so far.
Which means Monday or Tuesday for me.
At this point, I'm like fuck this shit. I had time until then to play, I will be busy with other stuff later on.
Huge mistake to not fix really simple issues in 24 hours. The only reason this bothers me so, is because I really liked the game, but like I said before, it's a budget title, and now it really shows.

Rushed hotfixes made by Obsidian? I dunno... I think nothing good can come from this
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

One stupid thing was a big part of the deal with Paradox that they pushed was all the supposed benefits of them helping out with QA. Doesn't seem like that helped much in practice.
I also have to wonder what the point of a limited content beta was. Granted I can see the desire to keep the narrative under wraps prior to release, but comparing the first and second halves of Wasteland 2 shows the massive benefit of having backers beta test the actual core content vs keeping things internal.
