Same here, the 2.5D graphics actually surpassed my expectations. I really hope Obsidian and In-Exile with torment continue to use this style. |
Yeah, it looks quite nice. After Wasteland2 I was like: WTF it is Unity engine or they facked it uo? But now I am sure. W2 was made by blind ppl. Seriously.
In PoE some locations are just amazing. Even first tavern with day time changing lightning got me.

Eder was hit by that double click bug, I fixed it by dismissing him. My monk could've been hit by that bug, I can't be certain. Apart from that, I haven't encountered any bugs, not even a glitch (people falling through floors, companions getting stuck, the usual stuff). I am aware of the major bugs reported, I am not avoiding them (I can't keep track of that while playing the game).
For me personally, this is the best polished Obsidian game I have played. I'm pretty sure I have played every Obsidian game released. I didn't finish South Park since I was bored by it, so I can't comment on that one. Most official game forums will be flooded with rage posts after a game is released. Why would anyone bother creating an account to praise a game? He/she will be busy playing the game.

It's hardly an achievement considering that it was rather simplified compared to "proper" rpgs.

I edited the savegame as sugested on the forums and managed to get unstuck.
I don't know what happened now but i can go either forward and face 16 enemies in one fight....... wtf. I already did that part earlier and im 100 percent sure it wasn't that crowdy. Also there is no way i can beat them.
Or i can go backwards but notice that now some characters have permadeath

@Aquma
Sounds awesome. I can't wait for my cipher to get this power I've always preferred playing wizards\sorcs but in this game they are kinda gimped imho(mostly coz of camp supplies requirement), and cipher seemed interesting enough to choose him as a main character.

Looks like they can no longer blame publishers for forcing them to release buggy games.

I'm sitting here, in the dark, playing golden oldies to kill the wait, counting the days till the miracle easter patch. Here's hoping Obsijesus Copperfield doesn't just fake it and then disappear forever as per usual xD

I don't think you understand it, mate. It won't be A miracle patch, there will be SEVERAL semi-miracle patches.

Wouldn't be a true Obsidian game if it weren't buggy as allhell.

Reading about POE bugs has been getting more and more entertaining recently . |
Apparently summons can cause bloat as well. Oh well, at least this bug should be easy to fix and retroactively patch saves.
