That actually looks kind of fun (considering I'm not really a naval fan at all), assuming they don't implement an absolutely god-awful grind like War Thunder did.

Never played World of Tanks or World of Warplanes, so I'm not sure how decent they are in that department.

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

While i found the combat enjoyable, i did find the slugfest ships a bore after a while. I'd rather jump in WoT if i ever got the crave for any of them.

Thankfully the different kinds of ships offer very varied gameplay styles, much more than WoT ever did, so that is a huge plus. If I'm ever bored with just shooting things, I can jump into a carrier or a destroyer for something fresh.

Goddammit I want to play this so bad, I fucking love ship based combat, be it in space or on water. Hell even the time doesn't matter as long as I can fire port-side cannons at people. Very Happy

Key giveaways for this game are gone within a minute Very Happy

I'm very curious how Warthunder ships will turn out compared to this. The healthbar system seems so strange in a game where armor and component damage would be a better place. Hits against the turret will sink you.

is the game good so far?

and no, turret hits will probably do nothing

turrets on BBs had the hardest armor, 300-400mm

you could say they were invincible

and BBs were inpregnable to anything lesser than <300mm shells anyways
