Another nitpick is how the companions have stupid builds.

Now I get that they don't want to minmax them as these guys have their own background and stuff, but at least don't have their attributes set to that extreme, and at least start the companions off at level 1 where we can pick which stuff to grab. Really feel like Eder's Ruffina weapon specialization is pointless.

And the spells on our friendly elf mage are dumb. Stop giving him damage spells when his attributes aren't built for that. Unless his backstory is he's some bumbling dude who thinks he's super awesome but is actually isn't, then I don't see why they chose to go this route of making companions mediocre.

Yes I can create my own companions in inns and stuff but why would I deny myself content?

Warning!!!
Game has insane number of game-breaking bugs right now. Just a few serious ones:

- Stats from items permanently add to characters on save/load (My fighter now has 107 deflection at lvl 4 ) .
- Companions and ranger pets can disappear (can't be fixed with simple restart game and load).
- Bugged items like Drinking Horn of Moderation for ciphers. http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/30lf2a/friendly_warning_to_fellow_ciphers/
- Double-Clicking Equipment Bug. Can cause your character to lose ALL Passives/Racials/Permanent Buffs, forever. http://www.reddit.com/r/projecteternity/comments/30lmx2/psa_doubleclicking_equipment_bug/



Lots of ways to break you characters/ campaign.

Obsidian rushed the game, better wait for patches.

The way I see it, wizards are not to be used every encounter. They are to be used in harder encounters, as they have limited spells. And this is great, imho. Makes you conserve.

Well..fuck me! I think it might have happened to me coz I almost always double clicked to equip items. I gotta check it out when I come back home...wtf.. this is seriously fucked up..

As much I am enjoying this game I can't shake the feeling that I'm also fighting against the UI. Trying to block a group of enemies in a door and micromanage the battle from there is awful. One click in the wrong place and you're gone.

The first ambush from BG1 still haunts me to this day.

Walking into city within first 2 hours of the game, random person walks up and asks me whether I'm Yuri. Many options to say yes,no,lie
etc and I select yes only to get attacked by a mob Laughing



1 and 2 are still amazing.

Double click bug was something introduced on release according to Codexers. I hope they get that patch released soon.

this bug with the double click is very serious... I can't even imagine how the code looks like. I think that someone implemented a EquipItem method and the guy who wrote the code for the double click went ahead and wrote his own EquipItemOnDoubleClick where he fucked something up...

I don't understand the double click bug. I can't even equip weapons by double clicking. Am I supposed to see bonuses from Long Stride, Lesser Wounds and Transcended Suffering under active effects?

I think the best way to reproduce is to do it with a piece of armour that gives stat bonuses. I don't know if it works with weapons.

A way to reproduce the problem - get my savegame:

(the warrior - check his nutty defence stats - should be half of that -.-)

Turn "defender" off, save the game, turn it on again - see that he have more defs now

I think this is the root of the many alike problems - stat modifiers that should be temporary go permanent


Confirmed , there is indeed problem with saving game and added stats. Breaks game difficulty.
