The path-finding and engaged/disengage system is also incredibly broken/clunky.
Really enjoyed it for the first bit, until all the broken mechanics started shining through. Not sure whether to just re-roll another class and start anew or not.  |
You think Wizard has it though. Priest in Baldurs's Gate is competent caster wearing heavy armour, with great amount of buffs that can transform him into decent tank. Here, his healing spells effect endurance only that gets restored after each battle anyway. He's got no resurrection spells, few offensive spells, and quite pathetic starting values. Lowest health, lowest accuracy and second lowest deflection and endurance, so he's poor with regular arms also. And don't forget that poorly designed resting mechanic also.
Maybe he becomes useful with full party when his many buffs come into effect, but even with that he's still extremely boring character.

The 3 hours I played yesterday I saw only a couple of minor typos. Don't know what others have encountered.

Anyone have problems with scrolling with the cursor at the edge of the screen? 60% of time it dont work, so I use middle button for panning

Probably with cheat engine, wait t'ill you level up, save the game, then play with cheatengine to find the stats you want to upgrade. Could work I guess

There's already a mod to make it feel closer to the Infinity Engine games:

Probably the biggest change is you can turn off engagement, although it seems like that would gimp tanks by preventing them from holding aggro.

Lol, the Eder dialogue after he joined is broken as shit. Sometimes it's just a sentence that is voiced and sometimes just a word.

Oh. and another thing.. Are we allowed to have only one trap active? I put a fireball trap on the ground and then I put another one and the fireball trap disappeared completely( I couldn't find it in inventory)

I placed some traps right at the feet of the first two warriors and then cast some weird fire scroll - this killed or severely damaged everyone except the boss and the archmage. Took me 4 tries. I am now stuck in the keep dungeon - stupid Drake!

I had a full group by that point, just explore other areas to find more party members. And you don't *have* to kill him...he gives you an alternative.

Remember: this game is not particularly linear. Meaning if you find a group of enemies you can't kill, then come back later.

I roleplay a Death Godlike Cipher Aristocrat >D Sneaky, filthy, kills anyone he can.
Roleplaying a dick to be feared is great!
