Yeah recall program isnt working atm. If you login to account management you might have a 10 day welcome back offer though, but seems to be very sprodadic who gets m.
If you're thinking of doing hours for plex keep in mind plexes are around 950m/1b atm.
Did the trial and like the improvements I noticed, mainly around navigating etc. Last time I played must have been around 2011 Is there any corp running on nfohump or everyone in their own?
the question is rather if anyone actually still plays
two accounts still active, just moved from spire down to querious/khanid region with the alliance changes ( NC/NA ) got new dead end system with station, its hostile for most part outside that with rogue gate camps but all the region is alliance so its no biggie really.
Cosmic sig ice belt plenty of forsaken hubs and so forth along with two pos's and moons.
What I was thinking too..How they manage to record the only 10 players in EvE that don't smack talk and spam local like they are 10yo playing CoD on xbox live?
I can't say in the 3-4 years I played I ever saw people that civil or mature about PvP chatter.

I would have to agree with you initially from ages ago mike, but since ive been in this new corp and under northern coalition its been a great group of people, but then the majority of us in the two mixed corps we are about are all above the age 28. Most being in the 40+ area.
Of course if you poke your head into alliance chat channel you will see the young ones at times being typically young

Eve is the game I hate to love but love anyways lol. 4 accounts subbed and doubt they will ever unsub. Gotst to keep them ships spinning.
As for the pvp chatter.. Maybe look for a more professional/mature corp/alliance? Never had any big issue with shouting/disrespectfull/10yr olds in my many years of eve

same here, i just let all my accs lapse after i got basically all lvl5 skills everywhere except BS and caps (no thx), too much money to give a fuck about making more and sadly simply not the time right now to spend whole nights going out hunting
but winter is coming...
and about pvp chatter, there are enough mature corps out there without 14 year olds spamming shit fuck dick faggot in comms. heck, in tuskers i almost had the opposite problem since it was mandatory to keep the chat family-friendly
Looking forward to frigates and manual flight controls
Nice first run for ccp bringing wasd to eve, the lock to camera mod now is the next change they should do like they have with our general tracking cam in game.
Nice opt in beta options when rhea launches on settings page for the new start map they are working on. The original right now I thought was great but seems they are doing more with it.
3 active accs. but barely actually PLAY, make more money than I know what to do with, so why bother
thx. bushy, by the way
Always looking for donations to support our fight against solar fleet and goons.
Booo. CFC for the win!
I've still 5 accounts active. Play when I can or when I can't think of anything else to play.
Glad they're getting rid of the cost of clones now though
sci-fi MMO EVE Online could be leaving the confines of your computer, with plans for a TV series moving ahead.
Hilmar Veigar Pétursson, CEO of developer CCP Games, tells WIRED that the studio is "actively working" on a serial adaptation of the popular game, in association with Ridley Scott.
"We're actually exploring that with Ridley Scott's production company and Baltasar Kormákur, an Icelandic director," Pétursson says, speaking at EVE Fanfest 2016. "We're actively working on that. I think we have some traction on it."
“These monuments to the might and power of capsuleers make excellent player-run trade hubs and defensive platforms, the largest of which is massive enough to offer super-capital ship docking bays.
With the ability to place them almost anywhere in the universe, it is truly a new dawn of player control over the space they choose to inhabit or invade, and their customizable nature makes it even easier to shore up defenses, manage important player diplomacy through access and docking rights, and exercise asset safety for even the largest alliances of tens-of-thousands of players should they be destroyed in cataclysmic, awe-inspiring explosions.
Citadels represent aspirational goals for corporations of any size, whether building their own and projecting power through it, or destroying them with clever military strategies and focused force.”
It never gets any better. And newbies stand little chance of enjoying the game, unless they're happy to mine all day long in lowsec - and even then many like to try and beat Concord like they're playing Need for Speed in Space...

It does get better. The new player experience is actually half decent (even my Dad got through easily enough) and the are so many large alliances/coalitions that are newbie friendly.
The game is what you make it. I only pvp as the other sides of the game don't interest me so I don't do them (i.e. mine, rat, explore, manufacture, PI, etc)

You don't have to mine ever since they implemented those starter careers years ago. You can do whatever and the game will start you off with the necessary skills and gear and you go from there.
It starts you off with incredibly basic skills, and a very small and pretty useless ship. Combat is of use only when you have enough skills and equipment to defend yourself - and in Eve, you need to defend yourself. Unlike say, Elite, where PvP is a lot more consenting, Eve is all about blowing up anything that is smaller than you are.
I dont like PVP - so there is little reason to play Eve any more, as the game has always drifted over to PvP.
IT seems you can't really play the game unless you join a corp - and as I don't like dealing with other people, there is nothing left to do.

Highsec is safe enough; that's ultimately what it's there for. Of course, it's not 100% but nor should any MMO provide that imo. The game has ulitmately, always been about PvP and the other factors (i.e. mining, LP points, etc) just help fuel conflict.
There are things you can do solo such as trading, manufacturing, PI and PVE (i.e. missions) but things like mining and solo pvp are harder. I spent years playing solo doing exactly that (hence why I generally avoid it now as I made my fortune and what else is there). You can get into pvp very quickly from the start (i.e. less than 20 days) but again, you need to be in a corp and generally, solo pvp is bad idea unless you really understand the mechanics (which new people won't)
You're right though, Eve does push you down the social side but I can't think of any other MMO that doesn't do that when it isn't story driven and is a a true sandbox.
I'm kinda similar in generally, I don't like dealing with people. I play games to get away from people as I deal with them all day but I still do fleets and whatnot, I just generally never use things like alliance or corp chat. I fly with goonswarm and tbh, there's so much bullshit in terms of PR and shittalking that I find myself ignoring most of it and cherry picking the bits that are important. Ultimately, I just want to blow people up
