Has the combat been reworked? I think it felt a bit... wrong at release. Slow and sluggish if i were to describe it.

Tried it last night. Combat is still mostly the same, "feedbackless" would be the word for me.
I swinged at an NPC and everyone attacked me,didnt knew you could kill NPCs now

yeah, you can pay to get 'crowns' which lets you buy mounts, costumes, repair kits and the like.

They're account bound I believe so all characters have access. I'd ask in-game to be sure but that's what people in local chat were saying yesterday.
A good horse is VERY recommended though. It's quick to hop on a horse and quick to dismount so ideal for gathering resources and travelling between quests.
About the game: it's definitely more polished and the addons have improved too. I enjoyed the original experience already so this is a bonus. I think people who complain about combat, don't give the game enough credit - the skill branches add a lot of tactics to the combat and later on (not that much later) you get to swap between two weapon sets which lets you use two completely different skill sets. Not many games allow for this!

Yep, that is correct, just have to set the mount as active in the collections window.
