ABOUT THIS DEMO...
This demo is a Halloween treat for our fans and is basically the updated demo first showcased at Gamescom 2014.
It consists of 3 fragments extracted from the game to give a basic idea of what Woolfe TRHD is all about, gameplay and environment wise... This demo will contain bugs, imperfections and performance issues. This demo is stripped of many features like GUI, combo and weapons upgrades, achievements, story & character unlockables, etc,... Also many elements are still under development and subject to improvement, including but not limited to: animations, sound fx, music, voice, character control, fight mechanics, cut-scenes,...
Permission to broadcast:
You are hereby granted permission to show, stream, record and share gameplay footage included in the demo as long as you clearly state that this is an early alpha version of Woolfe, intended for demonstration purposes only.
Quality and Fullscreen
In the level selection menu press ESC / Start button and choose item from menu at bottom of screen.
LEVELS:
The levels included in this demo are not considered to be levels of the final game. They are extracts from current levels in development upgraded to a point we feel comfortable with sharing with a selected audience.
The Sewer Side
This demo level is focused on environmental puzzles, don't forget to think in 3D if you're stuck...
Meaner Pastures
Basic hack & slash combined with platforming. Our fight mechanics are under heavy re-construction and because the combo upgrade system could not be integrated in this short demo, it does not show the full potential of what is to come.
Heavy Metal
One of the first levels we created. You will notice it is more 2D than the other two, it will be upgraded to have more depth. Apart from that it does illustrate the "retro" platforming feel we are integrating.
CONTROLS:
We strongly suggest using an Xbox360 controller at this time. Other controllers have not been tested yet. Keyboard controls have been integrated, but are not yet customisable, this could cause issues with foreign keyboard layouts. To view controls, please check the options menu item by pressing the START button (ESC). SPEEDRUN and USE are located on the right shoulder of the controller (you will need them).
Sprint: Shift, right trigger
Sneak/Drop: Alt, left trigger
Interact: Enter, Shoulder Buttons
Camera: Numpad keys, right thumbstick
Jump: Space, A-Button
Attack Light: A, X-button
Attack Heavy: S, Y-Button
Menu: Escape, Start-Button

The game is out of early access and I just bought it!! This is a top notch game for the $10.99CAD price point. Great 2.5D platformer!! I really love paying for games like these. The work and effort put into this game is so awesome. They could have charged over $20 but they didn't. Looking forward to the 2nd part.
I like the art style..however..
- I don't like the camera..
- I don't like pretty restrictive platforming as in although it might look like you can jump or climb here or there in fact you can do it only in specific highlighted places.
-Why can't I assign mouse buttons?? Is it keyboard\controller only? I mean..seriously?!
Fucking early access games with a volume 2 never getting finished. Like that action RPG thing where you get to turn into a demon or something and run around in demon world.
Today, Sniper Elite series developer Rebellion announced that it has purchased the IP from Grin, and promised to honour all remaining rewards. Rebellion took the game’s Kickstarter page to speak directly to backers, and offered a handy FAQ to help them get in touch regarding their rewards.
“Just because we’ve joined the Woolfe project much further down the road doesn’t mean we shouldn’t respect the people who made it happen in the first place. If a backer hasn’t received the reward they pledged for, we’re going to do our best to get it to them, even if we have to make it ourselves,” said Rebellion’s CEO Jason Kingsley.
Rebellion has not yet decided if it’s going to continue developing the game, particularly, the second act – which was promised by Grin but never delivered. However, the update promised to offer more details as they’re available.
