Gta for psp supossed to be a great game, who knows ?
im not going to upgrade for play it Smile

About rumors concerning gta usa rls from artisan is not
good dump ...

YES IT IS ! we dumped both usa and eur umds with our own
tools that reads ALL sectors from the umd (if u try to dump
EUR sampler disc with fastloader u will notice u will not
get the entire iso, why ? it has hidden files and fastloader
dumps until where toc of the umd says it finishes, so part
of the data is not dumped, umd dumper v2 for example works the
same way our tools does, it dumps every sector of the disc, but
it has a BIG PROBLEM, it MAKES BAD DUMPS u can try it byurself
dump any game and try to boot it (u will get a nice bad dump)
well so after we checked eur sampler disc we thought about
gta could have the same protection scheme as ppl reported
at some forums, but after dump every sector of usa umd we get
100% same iso than ARTiSAN rls (same crc) so stop specualtions
about bad dumps and try to crack the game as wer trying to do
Smile here is the uk version of the game it has almost same data
than the usa version except for the main binary, so good luck
hax0ring !!!! Smile

BIG THANKS TO OUR NEW 2 CODERS for the hard work Razz

PDX dumped the 3 first Psp iso way before fastloader was released.
A lot of peolple are working on it .... they need the iso to develop the new loader. Wink

Ok, let me get this straight. This whole 'problem' with GTA, is that no one wants to 'update their PSPs', as opposed to actually buying the game? If it works on firmware 2.0, then that mentality is complete bullsh*t, and it amazes me as to why people are whinging about not being able to play a release. We've got a working 2.0 downgrader, so why not upgrade your PSP to 2.0, play the bought game (heaven forbid), and then drop it back to 1.50 when you're done using a downgrader?

Is there more to this, or are people THAT indescribably cheap?

No, people want to download and play it... Since the eboot loader for 2.0 wont run in kernel more thereby are fastloader or UMD loader out of question ATM.

Well, that's what i'm saying. The real reason people are bitching, is because they're too cheap to buy one of the best games on the system.

i dunno bout others, but the reason i dont want to buy the game, is that i resent having to upgrade my system to play it - had sony sold the system for 20 bucks, then yeah, theyd have the right to force me to upgrade, but fact is, they didn't, so i dont upgrade because they tell me too. ill just patiently wait for 2.0 to get cracked.

I was planning on buying this game too (too big for a 1gig memory stick, and with all the sounds and movies ripped, it's not GTA anymore) but the fact that i have to upgrade to 2.0 to play this game, then have to downgrade again a couple of hours later because i want to play some other game, is just not a solution. Plus the game isn't even out yet in my country, release is november 2nd.

I wonder though if they're going to be able to create and UMD emulator for 2.0. that would be great Smile

Yeah, we Aussies are getting stiffed. December, Pfft! I'm ordering it from the states.

In any case, I doubt i'll be playing any homebrew when i've got it, so constantly switching won't happen. I do get what you mean, but it shouldn't stop you playing it.
