Seems like you can barely change anything with their C# Modding API (money, unlock some milestones). Too bad, would've been nice to be able to access a bit more stuff.

So there isn't a way for new buildings, traffic etc via mods?

they are offering buildings as preorder incentives, and probably as future dlc's, so probably no.

You can also add new models (fbx) but the C# API is very basic so it's basically just some new models and that's it.

TotalBiscuit stream: http://www.twitch.tv/totalbiscuit

Im going to try this one, normally Im not a total biscuit viewer, but trying to watch quill and his layout of the city is making me twitch anytime he adds something..lol. Its distracting me from actually getting a overview of the game itself.

edit:nope hes horrible at it also, watching him play makes my brain itch too Razz Did they give early streaming access to all the reviewers that never played a city sim before? Laughing

I know the feeling, a lot of times when I watch a game being played (builders/grand Stategy/MMO) I go: MEH

It's like most streamers can't play properly xD

So tempted to pre-purchase this. Think I will wait though. hopefully the price will still be sensible on release as Greenman etc, one more week Sad

Even SimCity V (or whatever they call that pos) is better than CitiesXXXXXXL.

I posted above the greem man gaming price which I thought was fairly decent at $21.89 and just a couple dollars more than nuuvem. Do you think it will drop lower? I'm 50/50 on pre-purchasing this.

It won't drop lower than Nuuvem, unless it tanks (which I don't think will happen). Could see a better deal after 6/8 months. Paradox are usually good with their discount deals.

Anywho those 'couple' euros are more than enough to ignore GMG (if you don't have credit there) and order it from Nuuvem instead if you are from the EU (don't know about £/$ conversions but I assume it will be worth it as well).

Paradox isn´t really known for region locking their games. I also bought EUIV on nuuvem and everything went fine.

EDIT: Every Paradox game I bought on Nuuvem is available in every language if you activate it in steam. I think this is because of the open structure of the paradox games.

Nuuvem will mention if it is locked or not (still better to ask if you aren't sure).
It's a steam key, but since it's a pre-order you'll have to wait for the keys. They have them usually a few days before release. Kinda the same as on GMG.
And yeah every game I bought there has been in English.

Used to buy more at GMG, but their prices went up and ever since then I use Nuuvem and Amazon (US) a lot more. Smile

If I'll purchase the CIS version will I have to use VPN every time I launch the game, or just like the description on plati says: "ATTENTION!! This game only needs to be activated with a VPN IP. After that it´s REGION FREE, without any restrictions!! - We provide you with an easy guide! ".

I understand will have to use VPN only upon activation and that's it, right?
