THE LAST MAN ON EARTH is a new single-camera comedy about the life and adventures of the last man on earth. PHIL MILLER (Forte) was once just an average guy who loved his family and hated his job at the bank - now he's humanity's last hope. Will he ever find another person alive on the planet? Would hoping that she is a female be asking too much?

I love "post apocalyptic stuff".
Anything post apocalyptic to recommend ? (Doesn't need to be a tv show)
Mad Max series.
Delicatessen
Planet of the Apes
Take Shelter (it's not post-apocalyptic but it's apocalyptic)
If you want more apocalyptic movies I can recommend more.
Anyway, the premise of the show does seem intriguing but I really can't stand Kristen Schaal. I'll check the pilot soon enough.
EDIT: Stalker is a dystopian movie, not post-apocalyptic.

@KillerCrocker
You could also try
I Am Legend (2007)
Stalker (1979)
The Blood of Heroes (1989) Rutger Hauer ftw . Sadly bluray version is edited and the uncut version is available only on dvd but it is said that bluray version is still nice and deleted scenes are not that important.
mmm lovely titles. Seen most of them. Cant wait for new mad max. watched whole trilogy for first time year ago and loved it incredibly. (tho 3rd movie kinda sucked)
Will look at rest. Let's maybe not derail this topic too much

Too annoying, stupid.. not funny jokes.
They are cleaning the house, while they could move to any house on the planet... and that retarded woman... jesus fuck. I would leave her and be alone again

Too bad, it looked genuinely funny. I guess the best parts are in the trailer, as usual.
Other post apocalyptic:
A Boy and his dog (1975) (I really liked it, although it has weird elements. Must watch if you're a fan of the first Fallout games, you'll notice its influence from the first moment)
Soylent Green (1973)
Problem is that American producers think weird or quirky is enough to humor people. To some extent it is, but if you are left with just that it gets boring quite quickly.
That trailer annoyed me as well since it's pretty much all the 'funny' bits of the first epi. I really wondered why I was watching a longer version of the trailer
It's silly, the humour is rather hit and miss and the characters are purposely obnoxious, but I somewhat like it so far *hides in a corner*. Though as always it's possible that it'll get stale soon-ish, time will tell.
watched pilot and i think 3rd ep. not my cup of tea... didn't laugh once...
it has more charm than humour and the humour it's going for is very weak
show is very charming though it knows what it is and the characters know where they are
I don't like the main guy... i never found him funny in anything... his timing is pretty lax... his comedy isn't about timing... it's all about the shock humour factor... lol he's shitting in a pool... lol he's drinking his own piss in his margaritta pool... lol... lol... lol... hey you know what's funny if of all the possible ways to kill himself he does it stupid... hey you know what's funny if the last girl on earth doesn't want to have sex with him because they're not married... hey you know what's funny...
yes it is funny but the execution in this show sucks (it's like a poorly written SNL sketch at the time when SNL should've been cancelled)... show is charming and it has a good vibe for it... i'd watch it if they hadn't butchered their comedy parts.
Shame they don't want to cancel this cringefest...
