Well that tru motion interpolation really looks great. The only problem I see is that it can produce some artefacts and it delays the output a bit, which would be bad for twitch shooters and similar.

OC that cpu to 4.1-4.2GHz (and turn off the turbo boost) with just the multiplier (which is 110% safe) and you will see improvement. |
never overclocked a cpu before (i know right) any good guides? apparently the 2600k is a piece of piss to oc?
edit: after reading a little I bumped it up to 4.2 using the multiplyer option, didnt touch anything else, prime95 ran solid for 20 mins with no errors and cpu temps didnt exceed 65 with stock cooling.

Yep that's good. With custom cooler temps will be lower ofc (especially with summer on it's way again i would recommend one).
But it was really easy huh, just the multiplier value in the bios and that's it
So how are your benchmarks looking now?
(tho keep an eye on your OC, for some odd reason, every now and then, my OC tends to reset itself back to stock for no reason..)

seems ok but I dunno if I'm just getting a placebo effect (ie: if anything its marginal, perhaps time will tell) the voltage is still on the stock setting (auto, it goes up to 1.35 ish when the 4.2 kicks in (again in cpu-z this goes up and down? this some intel feature? ) in games/ apps It stays up on 4.2ghz
bit of a newbie but got some more bang for my buck, though not convinced Im doing it right, also my bios didnt have a straight corevoltage setting, a few different weirdly named ones.

since your auto voltage is at 1.35V and your temps are good, put manually 1.35V and try like 45X multiplier. I had 2700K which did 4700mhz with 1.35V.
