seems like the new DLC has amazing anti-piracy triggers : camera fucks up, invincible cars, chicken instead of driver in the car, full screen zombie face/scream and comeback of pink scorpion

Make sure you get the Extreme version, not the classic, as it not only adds a substantial amount of new content... but also improves the performance. Also, the DLC isn't the worst either, Zombie DLC pretty much plays like Carmageddon and the Full Metal Frenzie one adds new content to the base game itself.

I've always felt like Gas Guzzlers is to racing games what Serious Sam is to FPS games, which for me is just fantastic!

1.8.0.0 version of the game is released as Beta branch. To test this version go to game properties BETAS tab and select Beta test branch. Download is ~4.4 GB.
This branch isn't compatible with 1.0.7 version in network game.
You need to start new 1.8 server if you want to play multiplayer. Profile is same for both versions so you can switch versions any time you like. But maybe it would not be wrong to make a backup of the profile. Profile is located here: Documents\gamepires\gasguzzlersextreme |
