My sentiments exactly. It does look interesting, but we don't know how far it goes with the core mechanics just yet (not much I believe, but one can only hope). Repetitiveness could also be an issue related to that. *ventures into the we'll see land* |

Yea, I was hoping it'll be more like Pirates! in space, turns out it's much closer to a regular space 4x strategy.
But who knows, Beyond Earth promised a lot and didn't deliver, white X-com looked poor and simplified, and ended being one of the best in the genre.
