So , today is Evolve beta available for Xbone gold users..no need for a code as I've heard, on monday it comes on PS4 and PC. Anyone tried it on Xbone ?
Finally got to play few rounds. Definitely fun , one time I was a monster..I fucked them up pretty good.. Other rounds I played as Support , really fun too. Every play was mostly short , one time we played it for 15mins or so..it was difficult to keep up with the monster and it was intense. Player who controls the monster needs to be really good to make the game even more fun and intense. The problem is , it was the same hype for Titanfall beta..then full game came out , after one month that was it for me. I never came back. It's the same question now , can they keep me interested for a longer time? We'll see , I still really want to buy it..
I tried it last night on PS4 but received a message saying the closed beta is available between January 15th and January 19th! The date at the time was January 16th!
Edit: Looks like the PS4 starts today until 19th. Maybe Ill try it again after work later tonight

Completed the monster tutorial and assault tutorial. Visually I think the game is a bit disappointing. Its Cry Engine right? Maybe retail will be improved but as its so close I doubt it. Maybe the visuals are toned down for the multiplayer side of things and the single player will look better. I dunno.
I didnt really enjoy playing the monster if Im being honest. I preferred the FPS gameplay as one of the humans. Also I didnt think the monster was that big. I think only Goliath is available for the beta but my expectations from seeing all the footage before playing it led me to believe theses things were huge, like Shadow of the Colossus huge lol.
I played 5 online games and every time the monster won! Im thinking you really need to work together to win as the humans. My preferred character was Makov, some of his lines were hilarious too. I quite like Hank who is Support and Val who is the Medic, they were quite fun roles. Its fun hunting the monster but there was one human player who refused to fight, he just kept running away but he may have been trying to Evolve to stage 3. No idea what the significance of the power relay is as I never got to saw what happens but Im guessing its bad for the human players lol.
I quite like the incapacitated state where you're waiting for revival. I dunno why, kinda reminded me of Gears of War when you or your team mates are bleeding out.
I kept getting killed by the goddamn carnivorous plants! Or whatever they are. I quite like the free roaming smaller wildlife encounters.
What is Daisy? Some kind of sniffer dog? I assume players cant control her?
Anyway at first, I was not too impressed with it but by the time I turned off the PS4, it was quite an enjoyable game. I think Im more eager to play the single player campaign though and I probably wouldnt be too bothered about buying it if it was a multiplayer only game.
I still haven't played the retail game as I'm at work but there were no matchmaking issues with the beta. Maybe they had some server niggles when Blam! was playing earlier.
