Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
i presume you guys dont know that the game looks absolute gorgeous now aswell. and you can use any resolution you want, you just launch it in the command line.
and if you are not happy with original graphics (which still looks amazing even by today standards) there are hirez texture mods. really, there is no year you could have said that is looks bad or outdated, even with original graphics.
Quote:
-w xxxx -h xxxx - Sets the resolution of the game. Useful to try and work around the limited resolutions in the game's menu. Can be used to stretch the game across multiple monitors. Note: the game is optimized for 4x3 display ratio.
basically, you have no excuse if you dint play until now
I prehurrdurred. Because I read that it's completely mod friendly, and they had the lead designer of COMPLEX, consulting for modding capabilities.
So it's a given that that mod will be available, and thats really all I would want.
So this is purely just new graphics? their site doesnt say much at all except it has better graphics, guess they 'd be stupid to not point out other features, if there were any.
Seems a bit lame if it's just basically a retexturing mod with ENB.
How do they compare to the originals with mods (if i remember correctly HW1-2 were mod friendly and probably has a ton of texture updates, and otherwise, already).
the engine is enhanced, better lightning&physics models, uses new DX, etc.
can't do that with mods
Gothic 2 was just updated to DX11 but i get your point, it's not too many games that get such updates with mods. Would have been nice if the gameplay was updated too, but i have no insight into the mods for these games, if there are any big ones or must haves (like for baldur's gate)

It has Steam cloud and workshop so it seems to be a steam game only, which is fine with me. I don't see it on GMG or other sites, Steam seems to be the only place. I may actually buy this one.
