@xxctxx: Stop acting like an asshole. the same weapon against the same enemy in the same position loses more durability on 60fps than on 30fps. It's bugged.

yes but 60 fps is intended weapon durabality loss ...ONLY THEN this stats and all this items / rings/ features /red messages midlle on screen / visible weapon life bars/ bonfire full fix every few meters MAKE SENSE ... how you ppl dont see it.....
why you want dumb game down ....... that the little toy slim toy katana breaks faster then huge thick iron bars like UGS .... only because it was released 1 month sooner on consoles?

Is it normal to you that you can sweep through entire areas with your Large Club+10 throughout half the game, then when you reach the boss area you still have half durability and after you kill the Boss you maybe have 33% durability left...
...and then you enter Drancleic Castle, use the bonfire, kill 3 enemies and you have already -10% durability, go through 25% of the area then you have 50% durability, then you have to take a repair power before you found the next bonfire (within the same area, not some bonfire after you beat the Boss).
You can practically watch your durability decrease in realtime in certain areas, where in other areas this was not the case for the complete area (skipping all 3 bonfires, killing all enemies & boss and still have durability left).
how about enemies have different armors - fighting tick rockskin dragon can have different effect than light armour hollow , plus is latter in game so they use it as difficulty increase ... they more resistant , have more health, hit harder ,decrees weapon more ... what so hard to figure it out

It's just a hassle.
It never brings anything to the table. It's just "now I have to click on the repair button... again" yay

This must be the first time i agree with both KC and paxsali all in one single page. Esp when durability is tied to the framerate.. that is so much bs. Play at 120fps bro, repair your weapon after each mob, be hardcore

no - its one of weapons balance stats ,important one - like every thing else - when your health go down you ""click"" estus , wanna more health/atttack/defence/weapon durabality - you put some ring on ect ...its a rpg...thats how you make it deeper ...

Just opened the mansion chest and got reskinned longsword, blacksteel katana, murakumo and to my surprise a reskinned great club...its available till the 7th of Feb so I hear.
I guess if nothing else then when the PS4/XBO version is released and since it's running at 1080p 60 FPS on those platforms (And PC too but it can already do 60.) we'll finally know the answer to how durability loss is supposed to be.
(It does seem pretty fast at 60 FPS but I have no way of knowing if it's intended behavior or not but this will probably clear it up once and for all.)
ooo yess they intendent to weapons dont break at all ..... so you can spam your R1 with katana over walls and dead bodys..... or enemys - on the last stages - take forever to attack....

I haven't played the game in months but from what I remember if you weren't careful then weapons broke pretty quickly at 30 FPS too.
(Especially if you accidentally struck the environment, interesting concept that but also quite realistic and then there's the thing with dead bodies too.)
