A long and interesting article about how political correctness is undermining freedom of speech.

I don't think anyone with half a brain would not know this to begin with really. We need people that say what they feel and we don't get that these days, we get pussies bowing incase of comebacks and attacks.

This article eloquently states what a lot of people have been thinking for a while now. Well done.

Ive seen long articles..... but this.....

THIS is the new Long Article. Holy lol. Pretty interesting as far as i could read. All this bullshit about offensive words etc, that should be a personal thing, if it offends you, amen, deal with it. But dont come in pushing censorship or prejudice on everyone.

I'm sorry, but I take offence to the word 'long'. It upsets my confidence as I am not 'long'. I am, actually, 'weeny', and it is insensitive of you to use the word 'long' to describe something that is not 'weeny', as it directly insults me.

Thank you.

But its the people who get ridiculed and say stupid stuff that get protected by PC mentality.... "scientology is stupid" - PC "now now freedom of religious expression, its not nice to call a religion stupid" etc.

People with brain can fully communicate their minds and present their argument to the world just fine, without the unnecessary hate-speach component and winding-up the masses side-effect.

People without a brain just wanna hear some pseudo-tough bullshit propaganda and lies that confirm their already narrow views on the world and other people, ... and it doesnt matter if what they say is correct, aslong as other narrow-minded people, whom they identify with, "can relate" to their non-sense.

Political correctness is the default position and it doesn't limit free speach at all, unless you're an uneducated retard, at which point "speach in general" is not your strength in the first place, so don't blame it on free speach nor political correctness.

The only people who complain that "we dont have free speach" anymore because of political correctness are typically the people who are sick and tired of the fact that they're constantly being ridiculed by the general public for their ridiculous ideas and hateful attetude.
Those people confuse freedom of speach with immunity against criticism. Yes, you guys have - like ALL people - the right to say whatever you want. And yes, we guys have the right to point out how fucked up and stupid you are, and there is nothing you can do about it. Sowee.

Thanks.

stop quoting, and you are part of the problem right there. Half the battle is allowing criticism and answering fully to that instead of beating around the bush with half truths and for the most part total avoidance of questions.

It is more like people with half a brain (lets hope you understand what that means in this context) get it, and see through the shit especially from half cocked answers from politicians and the like and those that swallow the pill everyday just nod and follow like good rinse repeat wash cycles.
