@Impus Quote: | Sadly, with this way of modding, all mods should be in one file and you can't just alter them (the game will not start). On the bright side, you don't have to fiddle with exe and dlls. |
Could you help me out with changing only durability for a post-patch version?
What do I need to do?

2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

From what I see just leave data\skills\default_levels.xml in archive and thats it. You're done.

@logimen
I tried altering default_levels and saving it within data archive but the game said that this archive was corrupted. It prolly has a CRC check or something now.

So it looks like we need a tool to pack files back to *pak

Cool
PS I just launched Dying Light Manager Tool, checked "Enable Mods" without touching anything else, closed it and after that default_values.xml in Documents started working again

Ok, I've tried the game with the patch and I have now 45fps (even 50fps at times) at 1080p, medium textures and everything else on low (nvidia options off ofc). But it seems too me that the graphics are now worse. Not so much but it's not as pretty as pre patch.

What was your previous FPS fearwhatnow?
I'm running the normal Reloaded release and it has been pretty flawless to be honest. I'm getting around 50fps with everything but shadows on high (shadows on medium)
Is it actually worth installing the patch, are people noticing much of a performance increase?
I don't really care about the mods, as previously mentioned here, I'm always on the hunt for a higher stat weapon.

24fps to 30fps pre patch 900p.
Look at my rig though.

Check your "View Distance" value, should be around 50% by default (half of the line) or 1.75-1.85 in the config file.

Is there a way to get priority on high when you start DyingLightGame.exe.
Do you need to craft a lot? Or is the game getting hard if you only use basic wepaons and craft at minimum.

You can use start command from command line (or create a batch file for easy launch).

Fire up the game, was warned that the prologue makes it look like it'll run much better than it really does. And indeed, 120 FPS without issues.
Get outside, still 70 FPS. Run around a bit, stays above 60 just fine so I'm all
90 seconds later: Your computer is running low on memory, please close some programs.
Fuck that, I'll try this again in a year to see if they managed to get their shit together, fucking imbeciles
