it crashes a lot if pagefile is disabled, which is weird because i have 8 gb ram and afterburner says game eats only 6, windows included. On 4670k and r9 280x fps is 40-60 fps. Anyway how to enter some locked doors where there is no lock? we get perk after for ramming the door or what?

You can always use a tiny bit of your RAM to create pagefile that is part of your RAM, like 512MB- 1GB should be enough i guess.

Played it for 3 solid hours.... Was fun for the first two hours then it comes across as a consolised piece of shit game.
Liberate safe houses dotted around the map lol wut

Run from one side of the map to the other in order to deliver an order of smoked sausage (and repeat) lol wut lol wut lol wut

Nobody in the game will do anything for you until you first jump through a series of hoops lol wut

It is like the developer swallowed a copy of farcry, assassins creed and dead dead island and then vomited up this piece of unoriginal crap.

I guess it's time to start the downloading engines Awesome

My body is already ready to embrace sub-par optimization, nasty bugs, crazy ass glitches and the stuff that we all like in our console ports of late. Sad Laughing Hopefully the game itself will be great.

I played it coop with 2 other friends using "Evolve" (better than hamachi or tungle, because it actually works).

sucks that our names our RLD! ...but whatever. changing your name in the ini file forces you to start the game from the beginning ...you can't use the RLD! savegames Sad

Noob, because they are being put in their own map with that name in the ini as name. Wink
Just copy the files over from one to the other

"C:\ProgramData\Steam" is where the username folders are kept and "C:\ProgramData\Steam\SauS\239140\storage\out" (for example from mine) is where the saves are...
All you have to do is move the "239140" folder from the "RLD!" dir in the "C:\ProgramData\Steam" folder to "whateverthefuckyournameisnow" folder Wink

Will try again tomorrow. patience has been lost.

I tend to say it could be a PSU problem, but when i looked at your sig i knew that couldn't be the problem. Not with that psu.

Weird, im not having any crashes at all. Im wondering what it could be.

Not had any more crashes since reinstalling.

Out of interest. What made you think this sounded like it could be a possible PSU problem?

For some reason this game hates my MMB. had to remap the key to g.

Cause the symptoms you describe are pretty much alike with failing psu's.

Crashes, blue screens, weird unexaplainable behaviour of the computer, unstable voltage lines etc.

At first i thought you we're having some kind of a cheapass psu which can say it delivers 800w for example, but wont be able to deliver that power at all Razz

Well, at least it works now after the reinstall right? So all good

Just my 2 cents.

This game feels like Mirror's Edge combined with Dead Island, incredible graphics and zombies.

I have been playing it for a while now, but it all feels so.... like im in a circus or something.

Climb here, climb there, zombies wont even trying to touch you when you're running past them.

I know they're braindead and shit, but they still suppose to be hungry for blood right hehe? Razz

My expectations we're high, and im slightly dissapointed.

It all feels so arcade, i just miss game nowadays with a mix of survival/arcade. Just something inbetween it. Or just full survival. This just seems all way too easy.

I dont feel the tension, you're trying to survive in the middle of a fuckload of zombies, but it doesnt feel like that.

Nonetheless, im having still fun with the game. Just put your brains on zero.

Maybe it's my age hehe.

I guess you haven't played in the night yet? Cool Face
You will get fucked up good at night
At least i also did, and i don't understand how some people said it was too easy at night.

Only explanation is that if you play in coop the enemies get stronger too with more players

Those slime thrower zombies will give you a hard time too if you can't kill them fast enough

Night is really easy, just flare and firecrackers and UV Light, easy to run around, and tbh NEVER go to a safe house at night, Use the night to gain Agi bonus, racked up a nights with 5k+

Anyone else with crash logs after quitting the game?

Game itself does not crash, only at exit (yet again it exits normally, no errors) and it writes new "crash log" over and over again.

It can be found here:

Game is interesting at first 2-3 missions. Now, at second city(Sector0) its boring and annoying - there's too much zombies.
Modding is really the same as in DI, just unpack files from Dying Light\DW\Data0.pak\Data to Documents\DyingLight\out\data\.
Weapon durability, speed, jump height is in Data0.pak\Data\Skills\default_levels.xml

P.S.
no weird slowdowns with i7-4770 and 970 @1080p. Default settings. Outside its 40-70fps.
