If this game was optimized, what would you guys expect it to run on with 60 fps+ ?

No overexaggeratings.

I have

i2500k (stock speed)
GTX 770 OC (4GB)
4 GB RAM

Should i be able to run it perfectly if it was optimized?

Make that ram 8gb and yeah you would run it perfectly if it were well optimized

G2A started sending out keys. Wink

So is this monster stuff available for anyone or what? The G2A key activated as "Dying Light ROW" with no indication of "PREORDER" or whatever.

I know that the DLC is supposedly available for everyone, but I thought I'd ask.

@Interinactive

I've just got out of the Tower and I had FRAPS running for several minutes. Everything is maxed out except for DOF & motion blur (disabled), 1920x1200

Avg: 49.716 - Min: 31 - Max: 121

121- it's probably when I was picking locks.Very Happy

Yes, it has a FOV slider, and i'm currently trying to cancel my pre-order and get my money back, rofl.

Seems the fact that these key shops only deliver on the 30th instead of the 27th worked in my favor, huh.

Fuck techland. Rofl.

And i just got a refund. Thank you Gamer's outlet for not being assholes.

As far as the game goes, i switched around my ram dims (???) and have gotten the game to stop restarting my computer.

Runs mainly around 50-60 FPS, but drops to single digits in most cutscenes, as well as when performing random actions like opening chests or doors.

Also, should any environmental action occur, hold on to your keyboard cause the game will freeze for a few seconds.

Nevermind the fact that the graphics look like dead island, even on ultra. Meh.

Glad i cancelled.

have you at least seen the charts for view distance?

if so, why do you set it up to 100% and still complain about poor performance?

Well, we've seen it. Do you reckon these results are acceptable for 980 GPU? Laughing

That's because you have distance set to 7-8 by the look of it.

Anyways, I set distance to 10 (out of 19) and now I get this:

Avg: 72 - Min: 59 - Max: 86

Not bad.

Although I think this distance slider doesn't affect "general" viewing distance but rather reduces the amount of details (trees and stuff like that) that are far away from your character.

@StEFaN7

As far as i know, draw distance is mostly done by gpu, because of more polygon calculation and more texture.

That's why you should not just have a fast gpu, but also lots of vram.

Well seems to be running great (if you dont put view distance to the max, then its like 35fps outside). Running the game now 2560x1080 maxed out (view distance halfway so its at default) and it runs solid 60fps. Game also has proper support for 21:9 aspect ratio, feels good man. Looks also great and plays good, much better than Dead Island, gonna enjoy from this one Smile
